"Yes, I believe we need to handle that," I say. I am still not sure if I am dreaming or if this is happening. Maybe I should test the waters.
"Why is she glowing?" I ask the woman.
"She is bound to you and you to her now. Her essence is also fighting the vampire bite. She wants to be a wolf, like you, not a vampire. You can give her that option if you choose to do that," the woman says.
I shake my head. "I cannot make her a wolf," I say to the floating woman. It does not work that way. Is she crazy?
"Before you begin to question me or my motives, know that Blake is special, and she can be like you if you offer it to her. Also, as you can see, I am not dead, but she does not need to know that now, okay. Maybe later, but for now, for her safety, it is better that she thinks I am dead," the floating woman says.
I look at Greta for a moment, and then the floating woman disappears. I shake my head and question my sanity for a moment. "How did you know?" I ask Greta.
"I knew her mother before, and I have the same genes as Blake. I am a hybrid. My husband is a wolf, and he gave me the option to be a wolf like him; I took it," Greta says.
"You do not choose to be a wolf," I say.
"You can if you are a witch from the Mountain Creek Coven," Greta says.
Damn. I married a witch, well I think the pack will accept that better than a vampire.
