We went to several stores and somehow I was totally uncomfortable with how much money he was spending on me. But I still put up with it because I didn't want to start an unnecessary argument with him. He waited patiently in front of the changing rooms and played with his mobile phone while I tried everything on in peace. When I took off my red blouse, Selina's scent suddenly wafted deep into my nose. I scornfully tossed her into the corner and snorted loudly, which got Killian's attention.
"Everything okay?" I heard him ask softly through the cabin door, but I didn't answer him. I was just jealous and couldn't stop the menacing growl emanating from deep in my throat.
"What are you interested in?"
I snapped at him, and the cabin door suddenly flew open.
Before I could react, he grabbed my hands and pressed them firmly against the wall above my head while he pressed his strong body against mine, not caring if he was hurting me. Ashamed of standing in front of him in just my bra, I avoided his angry glare.
His lips had never been as close to mine as they were right now, but he made it even more uncomfortable when he took my chin to look deep into my eyes. His was full of anger because I had challenged the great alpha in him and without really meaning to. His mouth was only a few millimeters from mine, making me let out a small whimper and my body tremble with fear. He bit his lip, not taking his penetrating gaze from me, and then pressed himself even more tightly against me, making my back start to hurt. My heart was pounding hard against my chest and my breathing quickened, and then I watched his eyes turn that beautiful green again at the sight of me.
"You growl at me, give me cheeky answers and as soon as I want to punish you for it, you pull me under your spell again," he breathed into my ear and sent a shiver down my spine, which made me wince slightly.
He took his hand from my chin and carefully placed it back on my back to enclose me tightly again. The warmth spread through me again as he began kissing my neck tenderly, then slowly sliding his lips to the crook of my neck. I gasped for air, completely overwhelmed, but then I flinched and violently pushed him away from me when I felt his sharp teeth on my skin. Shocked by this situation, I clutched my chest and tried to calm down. I looked up at him and saw the excitement in his eyes. He really wanted to tag me against my will, which made me freeze in disbelief.
He nervously ran a hand through his black hair, his eyes bewildered. Did he really think I would just give myself to him like that, just make me his? He couldn't mean that seriously. My body wanted him, I knew that, but I didn't. He broke the heart of my father who was the most important person in my life.
"Why are you so reluctant? It's the natural course of things."
His voice sounded confident because he really thought that. For him it was just that I was his mate and I would be his, whether I wanted it or not didn't matter to him. He didn't even want to get to know me or fall in love with my character. Instinct guided him and made him realize that I was only there to spoil, obey, and breed his wolf. Angry at this realization, I narrowed my eyes and boldly pointed a finger at him.
"You have no right to tag me until I give you the okay! Do you get that!? I'm not yours and just because I'm shy doesn't give you the right to command me!"
Proud of my bravery, I stuck my chin out at him and snorted derisively.
He said nothing more. Not a single word came out of his mouth. He gritted his teeth, was hurt and angry, I could see that, but I didn't care. Let Selina comfort him, I thought to myself, and then watched him leave the changing room angrily. All I could hear was his loud pounding and the front door slamming shut.
He just left me .
Horrified that he had just left me alone, I got dressed quickly and started after him, but I was still so angry that I just sat down on the floor and started crying bitterly.

Angry at her rejection, I climbed into my black Vw. What was wrong with her? Shouldn't she actually be happy? I tried to make everything right for her and let her get away with things that I would have punished others for, and yet she played the unapproachable. One moment she was giving in to me and the next she was pushing me away. I felt like a ping pong ball being hit from side to side.
Did she think badly of me? And if so, why? Our union needed to be sealed, so why was she eluding me? It was just the natural course of things...
I gripped the steering wheel angrily and drove off. Just get away from here. No one had ever hurt me like that before and I would have loved to handcuff her tightly to me so that I would never have to miss her again. The emptiness in my chest became unbearable the further I got away from her. I had never felt such feelings and I didn't know how to deal with them. Only she could trigger this vulnerability in me that threatened to tear me apart.
She wasn't a normal girl, her extraordinary eyes showed that, because normal women would have done anything to get my attention, but she didn't.
Didn't she have the same feelings as me? The mate connection forced us to desire the other immediately, but I didn't know what to do with her. Maybe I should just give her time. It was true that she had to go through a lot because of me, but that's what it's like to be by an alpha's side. She had to get used to that.
Arriving at the pack house, Damiano came towards me and looked confused at the empty passenger seat.
"What happened?" he asked worried as I got out and walked past him without a word. I didn't want to talk or hear anything. I'd rather throw myself into work, distracting myself from the pain that was stuck deep inside me.
Damiano silently followed me to the 2nd floor, where my office was, and sat down at the large desk across from me, looking worried. I looked at him without emotion and handed him some papers to look at some files afterwards. Work was supposed to distract me, but my only thoughts were with her, with my beautiful Alicia.
