Izzy went back home very uncertain about what to do next. She couldn't stop thinking about the worse. She went to her room to freshen up fast so as to think clearer.
Few minutes,
Joe later came home.
He rushed into the room, freshened up.
"You are back early today!."
Izzy exclaimed as she was dressing up as well.
Joe didn't reply. He had a fixed purpose and lost in his thoughts.
Izzy didn't insist.
As soon as he was done, he rushed back out of the house, without mumbling a word to Izzy.
"What's wrong with him!."
Izzy asked herself wondering.
But she gave up immediately. She had things to focus on as well.
Izzy then remembered she had copied Grace's boss number. She thought of calling the next day.
Yet, she couldn't wait. So she finally called.

He picked up!.
"Hello!."
He said
"Hello, sir, I am Izzy, Grace's friend!."
She said.
"Why will Grace's friend call me!."
He wandered to himself.
"Okay!. Anyway, I am happy you called. Please tell Grace, if she doesn't show up, or makes any sign of life, by next week, she will be fired!. We can't tolerate such lousy behavior!."
He spoke out.
Izzy got really surprised when he said that.
"Very bad!."
Izzy exclaimed
"Yeah, it really bad but it's really. So, transmit the message to Grace!."
He insisted
"No!."
Izzy exclaimed.
"Why No!."
he wandered.
"Not, No for the message!. No! because it is not Grace's attitude. I thought you had information about Grace's were about. I tried calling her these days but, no reply. I expected to get passive feedbacks from you!. This is really discouraging."
Izzy explained...
Izzy got depressed.
"No, we haven't seen Grace, for about a month or so. We passed at her apartments but no sign. Sorry!."
her boss.
He really felt her disappointment.
"This is really strange, Grace doesn't take her job for granted. Neither does she leave town without telling me. I am really scared. However, I don't want to take much of your time. Thank you for your cooperation!."
Izzy explained
"You aren't!. Grace is one of our hard-working employees and we care about all our workers. Please keep me informed. If my help is needed in any way let me know. I will love to be of help!."
He said.
Izzy immediately of the call.
"This is not funny Grace. But, Grace can't do this. Something is wrong somewhere!. What should I do now!. What should I do!."...
Izzy kept on repeating the same things to herself.
"What if Grace is somewhere we don't know and in trouble!. Or dead!."
She shivered out of fear.
After long minutes of reflection, she finally picked up her phone and called, Grace's junior brother.
Grace's brother said the same thing.
"She hasn't stepped home for months now!."
She didn't want to worry him, but she had to say it. Whether she liked it or not.
"It's like Grace is in trouble. None of her colleagues, friends, have seen her for months now!. I am sorry to announce it this way. but I just found it out yesterday. Either she is escaping away from something or something bad has happened to her!. I am afraid!."
Izzy explained as much as she could.
She had to say it.
It was evening already.
The young guy didn't know what to do!. He also got very anxious.
"Thank you for the information, Izzy!. But what can we do?!."
The young guy asked.
"I am as confused as you are. I think you have to inform your parents first. Then we will all decide on what to do!."
Izzy suggested.
"Good idea. It won't be easy but I will try to let them know!. Good night!."
He replies.
