Florina's pov
It's been one hour since I have woken up. My head is hurting like a hell, someone has hit me hard. Currently I am locked in the room which only have a bed everything else is empty like a hospital room.
I tried to open the door but no use, it has barreled windows. No one is here to hear me. Sebastian and vincenzo must be so worried.
Would they think that I escaped again. God! Please don't let this happen.
Suddenly the door got cracked open and the man walked in.
'shit... he is a Russian mafia. The one I recorded.'
That day I couldn't see his face properly in the dark but now I can. He is a man in his late fifties but I don't know why he is looking like my father. Same nose and eyes but his jaw is broad unlike my father.
"You are awake... Dear"
He smirked.
"Why am I here?..."
I demanded keeping my brave face.
"Because you are the part of my family... We are family Florina... I am Peter, you are uncle."
He said but there is no hint of love in it.
"What?... What the fuck are you saying..."
I yelled, this man is crazy. I don't have any family. My mother and father was my only family.
"You don't believe me but you will believe your mother, right..."
I can't understand him, my mother is dead. Is this some kind of rubbish joke.
I was about to put some sense in his empty head but I saw a woman at the door.
"Mom ?..."
For a second my world stopped as I saw her. She is alive, standing in blood and flesh. Same red hair like me, same eyes.
"Florina my baby..."
She said with glossy eyes and embraced me in a hug. I hugged her back desperately.
"Mom you are alive... How... Why didn't you come back... Where is dad?..."
I bombarded her with questions.
"Florina listen to me..."
She said but was interrupted by the man.
"She is my wife now, Florina... She is no longer your dad's wife..."
He mocked.
"What... What the hell is this mom... What is he saying..."
How can she marry someone else, where is my dad.
"I can understand that you are confused but you will know everything... We are family now..."
Peter said evilly while my so called mother is smiling looking at him.
"Fuck you... I want to go back, let me go..."
I yelled.
He told mother to leave us alone and like a obedient pet she did.
"Sit down Florina... Let's talk..."
I sat on the bed and he sat in front of me on the chair.
"I am Russian mob boss... And I am your uncle too. Your dad was my elder brother."
"Why I am here?..."
If he really thinks me as a family he wouldn't have kidnapped me like this.
"You have create so much problems for me, my trusted men are under custody. You destroyed my international market, where I was doing human trafficking. But I am ready to forgive you Florina. We are family... I don't have a daughter but I think I got one now."
"I am not your daughter..."
I spat madly. There is no way I am going to accept this monster who sells humans for his dirty business, as my family.
He sighed.
"Enough, can't act nice bitch... If you want to use me the harsh way then let it be then... I don't care what you think about me. I have brought you here so you can be of some use... You have already caused me so many fucking problems by recording that shit... I want to make my clan strong and you my dear will help me..."
"What do you mean?..."
I am scared now.
"You will marry the man I have chosen for you, he is powerful mob boss and I need his alliances..."
"What are you fucking crazy... I am not marrying anyone..."
I screamed.
"You don't have any choice..."
"Yes I do... Do whatever the fuck you want, I don't care... I won't do anything..."
No way in a hell I am going to marry someone else.
"I know how to make you do everything..."
He chuckled.
He grabbed my hair in tight fist and I screamed. It feels like he is going to rip my hair. I thrashed in his grip as he dragged me somewhere.
My eye widened as I saw basement like place. Is he going to torture me...
I was roughly thrown in front of the cell. I hissed as concrete floor scratched my palms and knees.
"Angel?..."
I heard the familiar voice and my heart started racing.
Same voice I was dying to listen again, same voice which was fixed in my mind all these years. How is this possible?
No it's not, I must be dreaming. This is a dream, a very bad dream.
I slowly looked up and my world froze looking at my father.
"Dad?..."
My voice was literally stuck in my throat.
"How dare you touch her bastard... I swear you hurt her and I'll kill you with my bare hands..."
He growled at the Peter, my so called uncle.
"Flora... Are you okay...?"
He looked at me with glossy eyes.
"I'll give you some privacy..."
Peter said and pushed me inside the cell.
"Dad..."
I hugged him and he hugged me back with the same desperation.
"How... You... You are not..."
I couldn't speak further and burst out in tears.
"Shhh... It's okay..."
He cooed me.
"I missed you so much dad... Why did you leave like that... Why"
His shirt is drenched in my tears.
He made me sit down on the bed. This cell is quite big, it has a small bed which can easily fit one person. Bathroom, tv, refrigerator everything was there like a small house. Why is my father living like this. Atleast Peter has a some humanity left to provide him all this things but still it's a prison, He looks so weak.
"I am so sorry, you have to see this..."
He said judging my expressions.
"No, why are you apologizing... What's happening dad, I can't understand... You are Mafia?!..."
He looked down in shame. I have never seen him like this.
"I was... But I never wanted to be the one, that's why I left everything and start a new life with your mother. But my father didn't stopped looking for me. I didn't wanted to drag you in this life that's why faked my death and went back to him so he won't find out about you... But Peter killed our Father and took everything from me."
"Mom?..."
Hurt flashed in his eyes as I call out her name.
"She chose luxury over love... She didn't wanted to stay in the cell with me..."
"I am so sorry dad, you have to go through this alone..."
I can't see him like this, he looks so broken. I know how much he loves mom, he was a ideal husband and father.
"Please forgive me flora... Whatever I did is to keep you safe..."
He wiped my tears.
"I know dad..."
He kissed my forehead.
"Don't listen to Peter... Doesn't matter what he says, don't listen to him..."
"Times up..."
We both turned towards the evil voice.
Peter forcefully dragged away from my father. Dad tried to stop him but he is too weak. I am sure he is not getting proper food.
"Leave me... Bastard..."
I yelled but within seconds landed on the floor as he slapped me hard.
"Listen to me very carefully, bitch... Do as I say or else I am gonna kill your good for nothing father..."
He threatened.
"No..."
I panicked. I can't loose him again.
"Then do as I say... You will meet the guy tomorrow and if you try something stupid then you know the consequences... Don't think that your lovers can save you. They can't step in the Russia so don't fool yourself with useless hopes..."
He spat and threw me inside the room, locking it from outside.
"They will come for me... I know..."
