The Wanderers couldn’t explain how it happened, but when they saw Cranky and the warriors from Solterra cross over to their world, they felt their desperation and helplessness melt into the air.
On the other hand, the Artemians felt a bit disoriented. Just as they thought ahead and believed they had won the battle, a new batch of enemies poured out of nowhere, each one more ferocious than the other as if injected with steroids.
As for the Jinn Alliance, they felt rather awkward.
They had come to attack the Wanderers, who turned out to be allied with the Artemians.
The Jinn Alliance was the only faction that felt awkward at this sudden turn of events.
Stuck between fighting against the Artemians or the Wanderers, they chose to fight alongside the Wanderers after the Dragonkin Prince declared to attack the Artemians.
A bloody and brutal battle ensued as Cranky and King Astrion duked it out with each other in the sky.
Both of them seemed to have come to a decision—to wage their battle in the sky, high above the armies fighting against each other.
Neither of them had plans to hold back. Each blow they unleashed was meant to go for the kill, and if their armies happened to be caught in their collision, they would likely turn into ashes in an instant.
Just like King Astrion, Cranky was also High-Archon. It had stepped into the ranks after it became a deity in the Valbarra Archipelago.
The power of Faith allowed a creature to increase its rank and was the real secret to reaching the Celestial Realm.
As for the Fiends, they would have to defeat many opponents to forge their Fiend Cores, which would increase their rank to its limits.
"Go retrieve Princess Zia while everyone is busy," Lucan ordered Azoh’Ran.
He believed that since the Golden Azothrall succeeded the first time, it would also succeed a second time.
It then burrowed under the ground and made its way to the Planar Mountain Range, doing its best to be as stealthy as possible.

Prince Aurelion, Commander Dravon, and Princess Fiora had now sided with the Wanderers and were fighting the Archons of the Artemians.
Zapar unleashed his full powers as well, strengthening the ladies whom he had "tainted" among the Jinns, boosting their strength way past their normal capacity.
Lawrence, Arthur, Douglas, Trevor, Wendell, and the other Thrones of Pangea acted as the Vanguard for the Wanderers, making sure to eliminate the strongest threats first, so their people would not feel helpless from fighting strong opponents.
Amidst all this mayhem, five mechanical beasts merged together, transforming into GANDAM HELL, which focused on fighting against Rank 8 and Rank 9 Sovereigns!
"Wow!" Prince Xylen, who was mounted on his giant white beetle, looked at the giant robot in awe. "I wish Zion would make me one of those, too."
"Keep dreaming for now," Prince Zorren replied. "He doesn’t have time to make you something like that."
The Prince of the Skavari was riding on his wyvern, using a magical staff to unleash fireballs at his enemies.
Prince Xylen sighed and followed his fellow Prince as they charged their way among the enemy’s ranks.
As the chaos continued, Azoh’Ran had finally locked onto Zia’s location.
Azoh’ran was prepared to deal with the young lady, so it wasn’t worried. The Golden Azothrall believed in its strength and knew that the Death Bat was also seriously injured.
It should not be able to fight against it in its current state.
As the Golden Azothrall drew near, the ground in front suddenly collapsed, followed by the appearance of a giant centipede with razor-sharp mandibles lunging in its direction.
Fortunately, Azoh’Ran’s hands moved quickly, timely intercepting the mandibles of the Giant Centipede and holding it in place.
"Only a Rank 9 Sovereign." Azoh’Ran sneered. "Die!"

But this was no longer a threat for Azoh’Ran, who wished to complete its mission.
Just as it was about to move away, the tail of the centipede wrapped around the Golden Azothrall’s body, holding it in place.
Thinking that this was just the reflex of the dead centipede, Azoh’Ran exerted force and tore its body apart, freeing itself.
Suddenly, a screech reached the Golden Azothrall’s ears, forcing it to look behind.
"What?!" Azoh’Ran gasped in shock at the sight of the Centipede’s head. He was sure he had completely crushed it, but it seemed that it had regenerated completely. Now, it lunged at him once again with fury.
The giant monster fought tooth and nail with Azoh’Ran, scratching its golden-plated body, sending sparks flying.
"Just die already!" Azoh’Ran roared in anger as its arms turned into claws, hacking the centipede’s body into countless pieces.
However, right before its eyes, the enemy it thought was finally dead once again merged its pieces of body together, then attacked once more.
The Golden Azothrall was now truly enraged as it sliced, bit, and crushed its enemy with fury.
But no matter how many times it killed the Giant Centipede, it would always come back to life as if it were immortal.
"It will take more than killing it to kill it, you know?"
An amused voice reached the Golden Azothrall’s ears.
The sound prompted Azoh’Ran to look around, but after failing to sense a third presence, a furious shout left its lips. No matter how much it tried to sense a third presence, there was only the giant centipede, who was just as infuriated as the Golden Azothrall.
The battle underground was becoming more intense, with no sign of ending.
Out of desperation, the Golden Azothrall decided to leave the unkillable monster behind and focus on kidnapping Zia a second time.

No longer able to tolerate the giant centipede’s meddling, Azoh’Ran headed to the surface.
Since burrowing underground was a pain, it would just fly to the peak in one swift move!
But as soon as it emerged from the ground, it came face to face with a breath attack of the Wyvern King, Vannaroth.
Azoh’Ran growled as it endured the surprise attack until the breath attack finally came to an end.
"Hmm... you’re tougher than expected, which is a good thing. Having a subordinate like you will make this trip worth it."
The Golden Azothrall glared hatefully at the creature mounted on the back of the Wyvern King, who was looking at the Killing Machine of the Artemian Army like it was a new toy to play with.
