When Alex opened his eyes, he found himself in the body of an old man.
Finding out about this body, Alex could not help but curse in his heart. He remembered what Atticus told him before sending him to go through the Second Trial.
"I hope you will like the new body you are going to possess!"
These words were told by Atticus, and now, looking at the old man's body that he has possessed, Alex could not help but want to keep cursing Atticus.
Just like what happened when he was going through the first trial, the memories of the old man soon surged into his mind and he found out all about this world, about the war, and about the old man's background.

But one day, a human was born that saved the entire Human Race from its destruction. Only a few million people remained. Humans of this world lost everything.
Because that one human saved their lives, the rest of the humans started calling him Fire Emperor and made him the king of all humans.
They called him Fire Emperor because he brought light to the humans who had already lost hope, he ignited the fire of spirit in every human's heart and made them fight against the demons with all their might, hoping to reclaim this entire world back that belonged to them.
But the attacks from Demons did not stop. The entire world now belongs to demons. As for Humans, only a small country was left to them. They called this country the Inferno Kingdom.
The Inferno kingdom became the last safe zone for the Human Race. The Fire Emperor divided the Inferno Kingdom into Nine Layers. The First Layer was where mortal humans without any strength lived, and the Second Layer had people who could cultivate, and so on. The Ninth Layer was the mainland where the strongest of Inferno Kingdom lives.
And beyond the Ninth Layer was the main battlefield.
The Fire Emperor kept the strongest people in the Ninth Layer to protect the Inferno Kingdom from demons. At the same time, created barriers in every layer that could stop stronger demons from invading.
As for him, he went to the mouth of the Abyss to stop the demons from coming out. He alone stopped all the demons and still keeps guarding the mouth of the abyss.
However, although the Fire Emperor stopped the demons from coming out of the abyss, this entire world was already in the demons' hands now. Only a small Inferno Kingdom was left to humans.

The old man that Alex possessed this time was used to fight in the Fourth Layer against the invader demons. His name was Dalgo Lynch. He also has two sons and one daughter. And they were all in different layers, protecting them from the invasion of demons.
Dalgo was just a Heavenly Completion Stage martial warrior, and now, Alex possessed him.

Those Demons were trying to kill Rey and the others on purpose. It is because Rey and others were coming toward this place slowly. And this was the place where stronger Demons were hidden.

On a small mountain ten miles away, three demons stood side by side. The leading demon stared at Alex and spoke in human language. Its killing intent soared.
"We can't let him kill our companion again!"
Another demon's large eyes flashed with killing intent as it spoke in a low voice.
As soon as this demon finished speaking, the three of them roared toward the sky and instantly moved. They jumped a few times and appeared on the hillside opposite Alex. They stared at Alex covetously.
