CHERRY'S POV
I am so exhausted, it's already 6:30 on and I'm yet to close from the office. I should have left a long time ago, but I still want to finish all the designs I have started already.
Looking at what I have already done, I smile to myself, Wow!!! It's really unique. I am happy with the results, it's very unique and special, I wanted something different and exquisite to sell out expensively, and what I am doing is more like it.
Sighing, I just can't take the tiredness anymore, I need to have some rest. Just as I am parking and arranging my things, I hear a soft knock on the office's oak door, "Come in." I say and Tamara walks in with a bunch of flowers and a red wrapped box of something I think is chocolates.
Huh! Who sent this?
"Evening ma'am. This delivery is actually for you."
"I can see, it's from who." I ask concerned as my mind spins thinking, "Actually it's from LC Sanchez." She says nervously.
"Why will he send me flowers, didn't I tell you to decline his invitation?" I ask with a frown.
"I'm sorry ma'am, the meeting we went for actually took our time, and I forgot." She replies gazing at the floor.
"Why will you forget something little and trivial like this, and I am tired already, why didn't you cancel the appointment immediately I told you too." I almost yell. "I'm really sorry ma'am, this won't happen again." She says pleadingly and I huff.
I'm really mad at her, and I'm so stressed out. I never wanted to go on a date with anyone, talk more of a business partner, but now I have to thanks to Tamara, this delivery is in anticipation of the dinner, I'm very sure.
I sigh, "I'm sorry for raising my voice at you, forgiven?" I say remorsely and raising my eyebrows at her so she'll know I asked a question, I might be cold and heartless but I am not rude or arrogant to my employees.
"Yes ma'am, I hold no grudges." I smile at what she says, "Ma'am, should I get you something to eat?" She asks her face beaming already, "Uh no, just get me a beautiful gown, a pair of heels that matches it and some makeup artists, guess you have booked a date for me, I'm going to the dinner."
TAMARA'S POV
Oh thank goodness, I wasn't fired for this risky stunt I just pulled off.
I need to call Miss Jeanne, well she's actually the one who told me not to decline the dinner requests, giving excuses like she needs to love something or someone rather she needs to move on and blah blah blah.
Miss Jeanne is a friend to Mr Sanchez and according to her, he desperately wants Miss Cherry to come to the dinner date, because he already knows she might reject the date, her cold attitude is not a new thing to him.
"Hello Jeanne." "Hello Tamara, did she agree?" I hear her ask, "Yes." I muttered.
I decide not to tell her about the near scolding I almost received, she already apologized, and it's still amazing me up till now, I still can't believe my boss did that.
"Thank you so much Mara, you're the best." She replies and disconnects the call.
I give out a huge sigh, and then contact the make-up crew for my boss.
"Hello, is this Sara Dalong?"
Sara Dalong, is the owner of beauty and the bar Inc, our go to make-up artist whom we use for our models anytime there's a display at the store.
"Yes, how can I help you." "Um hope I'm not disturbing, Ma'am Cherry needs you right now." I say and she replies, "No no, I'll actually be on my way."
I disconnect and move downstairs to our store, to select a nice dress that will look stunning on her, and make her stand out, making people turn heads. My eye catch sight of a sparkly sequined blue strapless dress it would definitely look good on her. I also select silver heels and a matching silver purse.
Chuckling I take the dress to her dressing room, I hope she approves of my selection.

JEANNE'S POV
"Hello Sanchez, you are in luck, she accepted and she's getting ready as we speak." I tell him and don't wait for his response as I immediately hang up.
Mentally congratulating myself for a job well done, I pray Sanchez won't fuck this date up, and also make my Cher' happy.
Honestly, as her friend I'm not happy with the cold persona she carries with her everywhere. She used to be so cheerful and full of smiles until Jayson disappeared leaving her heartbroken.
Now it's up to me, to mend that broken heart, she really needs to move on.
