Back in the hospital, I walked straight to doctor Sam's office, I need his help in regards to Kimberly's security and safety.
"Come in," Dr Sam said immediately I knocked at the door, I walked right in almost immediately too.
"what are you doing back here, Kyle, I mean, is there a problem?" Doctor Sam asked looking up from his table and peering at me inquisitively, I guess he is surprised to see back here in such a short while, it has not been long since I left this place.
"Yes, Doctor Sam, I came back here because I need your help," I told him without wasting time.
"Go on and sit down," he said pointing to the chair in front of his desk.
I sat down too almost immediately, "tell me, Kyle, what is it?" he asked again this time staring into my face, "did you see Sonia?" he added because I told him I was going to get Sonia arrested the moment I left his office.
"Yes, Doctor Sam, I saw Sonia but I could not get her arrested," I told Doctor Sam sounding frustrated as I recalled all that has happened earlier.
"Why? Why did you not get her arrested?" he asked sounding a little confused, I guess.
"I do not know how to explain this to you Doc. I am also confused as well, I went to the police station and filed a report on how Sonia shot Kimberly as I have told you I would," I said to him and continued, "two policemen followed me to get Sonia arrested at her house only for me to reach there to find Sonia already waiting outside her house for me as if she knew I was coming, and yes, she knew I was coming," I told Doctor Sam again correcting myself.
"How do you mean by that, how come she knew you were coming to get her arrested?" Doctor Sam asked still sounding surprised and probably confused too.
"Doctor Sam, that is not the main point now, the main point now is that my dad ordered for her to be released before we could get to the station," I told him wanting to get to the point
"What? I do not understand, Kyle, your dad did what?" Dr Sam asked looking so confused now.
"I do not understand it too myself but when I called to confirm from Dad, just as the police officer had asked me to, Dad told me to leave there and come back home, he told me that he did not permit me to do what I just did and I am going to find out why he did that when I get home," I told Doctor who looked dumbfounded, I think.
"I left there and had to come here first to ask for your help because you are the only person I can trust with the safety of Kimberley," I said looking into his face before I continued.
"Sonia told me that someone from this hospital informed her that I am on my way to get her arrested and from the look of things too, I think she also has an informer in the police station and the worst of it all, my dad had to order for her release immediately, so please Doctor Sam, that is why I am here, please make sure to look out for Kimberly as I know now her life is still in danger someone might do something when they get the slightest opportunity," I told Dr Sam pleadingly.
"Do not worry about it, Kyle, I will be on top of it right away," Dr Sam told me.
"Thanks, Doctor Sam, "I said to him.
"You do not have to thank me, Kyle, you are like family to me," he said to me.
"I need to, I would have called you on the phone instead but I decided to come here to see you in person and to leave one of my security men to guard Kimberley, I told Dam Sam.
"It is alright, Kyle, where is the security man now?" he asked me.
"I told him to wait outside, I just needed to talk to you first before getting him here," I replied.
"Alright, call him right away, we have to go to Kimberly's ward right now," Doctor Sam told me standing up from his chair, gesturing for us to leave.
I picked up my phone immediately and call my security man who I told to wait outside earlier.
"You can come in now," I told the security man over the phone when he picked up.
"Alright, sir" he replied and hung up.
I followed doctor Sam who was standing by the corner waiting for me to finish my call, he walked out of his office and we waited a few seconds for the security man to join us and when I saw him we started working again in Kimberly's ward while the security man followed behind...
"By the way Doctor Sam, how is Kimberly doing, have you checked on her again after then?" I asked as we walked along side each other.
"Yes, Kyle," he replied.
"And?" I asked wanting him to say more.
"I want you to be hopeful Kyle, I think she is going to get true this, she getting a blood transfusion as we speak," he added and this reply of his got me hopeful and I think it did calm my nerves a little.
"Please do all that is needed to bring her back, Doctor Sam," I told him pleadingly.
"I will, Kyle, so you have to take it easy on yourself so that you do not break down because of this," Doctor Sam said to me calmly pausing to look at my face before opening the door to Kimberly's Ward.
