I hurriedly stepped out of the car immediately the driver pulled over in the hospital premises, I ran into the hospital as fast as my legs can carry and luckily for me, I saw Brian walking towards the entrance of the hospital, saving me the stress of having to deal with the nurses for inquiry.
"What are you doing here, Kyle?" Brian asked rushing towards me.
"Where is Kimberly, I mean how is she?" I asked him instead ignoring his question.
"They are operating on her now, Kyle," Brian replied immediately, "you should have changed your clothes first before coming here," Brian added looking at me with disapproval, I guess.
"Excuse me, sir, are you alright,? One of the two nurses that rushed towards me asked before I could say anything in response to what Brian had said.
"Yes, I am fine," I replied to the nurse without looking at their faces.
"Take me to where she is, Brian," I said again to Brian.
"Are you sure you are alright, sir?" the other nurse asked again touching my hand.
"I said, I am alright," I yelled at the nurse this time, "please could you just leave me alone," I added not minding the eyes that turned to stare at me.
"Calm down, Kyle, are you sure you do not need attention yourself?" Brian asked me too looking at me with concern, I guess.
"I said I am fine, Brian," I said to Brian widening my eyes at him angry that he too would ask me if I am alright.
"Do you think otherwise?" I asked him furrowing my brows at him.
"It is not what you think, Kyle, it is just the way you spoke to the nurses," Brian said, "and besides who would think that you are alright when there is blood all over your body, that is why I said that you should have at least changed into something else before coming here," Brian told me.
"Well that is not important to me right now, what I need now is to be sure that Kimberly is alright," I told Brian in return as that is what I cared about, "who is in there with her, I mean who is looking after her?" I asked Brian almost immediately.
"The doctors are with her in the operating room, Kyle, and her friends are still waiting outside by the door," Brian replied.
"Alright, Brian, take me there, I need to be sure that she is safe and I suspect Sonia would come here looking for her too," I told Brian urging him to lead the way.
"Sonia? Why would Sonia be here?" Brian asked sounding surprised as we walked alongside each other.
"Sonia tried to kill Kimberly, Brian, so I think she is going to come back here to make sure she accomplishes her aim," I told Brian glancing at him.
"Do not be ridiculous, Kyle, Sonia will not be here just to kill Kimberly, I mean why would she?" Brian said and asked me in return, "tell me, Kyle, what makes you think that she wants Kimberly dead?" Brian asked again immediately.
"How can you ask such a question, Brian? she is the one who shot her remember?" I reminded Brian in case he has forgotten, "Kimberly is lying in the operation room right now as you have said because Sonia shot her, have you forgotten that, Brian?" I asked him again.
"I know, Kyle, that she is the one that shot Kimberly but what I mean to ask is this, are you sure Sonia intentionally shot Kimberly, did you not say something that pissed her off or that pushed her to shoot her? I think that will be the case," Brian told me, I guess he still thinks of Sonia as a sane human.
"No Brian," I said stopping to look at Brian's face, "Sonia came back to the house with the intention to kill Kimberly and I am sure of it," I told him bluntly.
"Why would you say that, I mean, what made you so sure?" Brian asks, staring back into my face.
"Sonia told me to bid Kimberly Farewell because she would not allow me to see her again, I did not know that she meant she is going to kill her, even though I had suspected it, and Mum confirmed it too, she said Sonia once told her that she is going to kill anyone for my sake, so you see Brian, Sonia came back to the house with the intention of killing Kimberly," I told Brian and then gestured for him to continue walking again.
"Are you sure about this?" Brian asked me sounding surprised, I guess.
"Yes, Brian, I am sure of it, where were you anyway, when she was acting all crazy even after she shot Kimberly?" I asked Brian baffled that he would be asking me this as if I am making this up, "she even threatened to shoot Vicky, Kimberly's friend," I added.
"What?" Brian asked still sounding surprised, I bet he could not believe that Sonia is capable of a thing like this, because of how she has deceived him, including my parents, only I knew her well enough and the things that she is capable of.
"You can go ahead and ask Belinda when you get home, she was there with me," I told Brian, not willing to dwell further on it.
"Please I want you to be at alert because she might try to do something again to finish what she has started alright?" I told Brian again.
"Well I do not think she is going to come here for something as insane as that but we have to wait by the operation room for the doctors to finish operating on Kimberly first, then, that way we can know how she is doing before thinking of protecting her," Brian told me.
"God, Brian, I wish... I hope... I hope so much for Kimberly to be safe..." I told Brian stammering as I speak this time.
"Is she still alive when you brought her here?" I could not help but ask Brian all of a sudden, stopping to look into Bryan's face again, recalling that her eyes were shot when they took her away from me.
"Yes, Kyle, she is still alive when we brought her in here and the doctors took her in immediately," Brian said in reply.
"Is Doctor Sam in there with them?" I asked again hoping that he is in there because I will feel more comfortable having doctor Sam in there himself.
"Yes, Kyle, I call Dr Sam before we got here and he was among the doctors that took her in," Brian replied.
"Alright, Brian," I said gesturing for him to lead the way again...
"What are doing here? Vicky asked glaring at me the moment she saw me and Brian... And I am wondering what the reason for her question is...
To see Kimberly of cause, I said within me in response to her question...
