The next day the doctor came and checked on me and he asked a few questions and I replied which he left. I was hoping his gonna discharge me but that didn't happen so here I am still in the hospital walls which I dislike so much but glad father is here by my side to look after me and the baby while Sam and Mia come whenever they closed from work
Have been sleeping throughout the day so I didn't know maybe Vivian came or not which I couldn't bring myself to ask father nor Sam even though it's not a big deal still in the train of my thoughts when Sam speak up "Mrs Adams said she will be coming over today" Sam said
"She shouldn't have bothered herself I will soon be discharged"
"You can tell her to go back when she comes" he replies
"I'm not that rude"
"Say that to someone that doesn't know you" he said and walked out with the baby in his hand while father just smiled at us because whenever we're like this he doesn't interfere because he doesn't like supporting one without the other.
Not even upto some minutes when Sam walked in again "thought you won't come back inside again" I said not knowing his with people and the fool didn't think it's better he warns or sign me seeing me talking anyhow
"I can see the nursing mother is fine already" Mrs Adams said coming into view which makes me speechless "I can see cat cut your tongue" she teasingly said
"Welcome ma" I greeted shyly
"Thank you. Congratulations Lilly" she said giving me a hug
"Thank you ma"
"I'm glad to see you sound healthy and in good shape" I smiled, not knowing what to say "what's the baby called?" She asked taking the baby from Sam arm
"Rafael"Sam replied instead of me
"Woow what a lovely and nice name" she said playing with the baby before she looks up at me "do make sure you eat healthy foods so there will be enough breast milk that's way the baby will be fed well"
"Okay ma" I just don't know why am not free with her yet even though she's nice towards me
"Good I hope to see you back in the office after some months with chubby looking Rafael" she smiled before laying the baby down since his already asleep which I just nods my head "I should get going it's getting late already"
"Thank you for coming ma"
"It's my pleasure, do have enough rest and take care of yourself" she said leaving which I intended to escort her but she stops me saying I need not to stress myself Sam will escort her. Sam came in with different type of shopping bags in his hand which only means they're from Mrs Adams
"Here she said I should give it to you" Sam said sitting down pretending to be exhausted
"You're too lazy to be called a man"
"And you're too strong to be considered a woman" he says back which I let him be before picking my phone to call Mrs Adams. She didn't pick which I thinks she's driving which I decided to call her back later
"I want to be discharged already I complained"
"Maybe in the evening if the doctor comes we should tell him to let you leave since you have gotten enough rest" Sam suggest
"I hope he let me go because I don't think I can spend another night here again"
"I know so we will try to talk him out of this" about to say something when my phone rings Mrs Adams name on the screen
"Hello ma. Thank you so much for the gifts and visit" I directly say because I know she will cut the phone on me if I waste time
"Do take care of yourself and the baby"
"I will. Thank you for your concern and care towards us I appreciate" I said sincerely
"Bye Lilly" she ends the call which I sighed "she's so nice" I said
"I know that's why I chose you work there"
"And I'm really glad for that at least I got to Mrs Adams the lady with golden heart"
"And I'm the guy with a silver heart right?" Asked Sam which I laughed
"In your wildest dreams" I replied still laughing
"I know you don't like me but at least pretend to" he whined
"If you're behaving like this I wonder what you will teach Rafael when he grows up" I couldn't help but say
"Don't worry Rafael is a gem so let him be for now" he said which I just nodded because I'm tired and feeling sleepy already
"Need to sleep" I said in between yawn
"Okay let me join you too" he said as he hopped onto the next bed beside me which was brought in after I complained about father and Sam not having where they could sleep.
I woke up to the sound of the door being cracked open at the same time Sam wakes up too which I know it's the door sound that wakes him too because we both aren't heavy sleepers " sorry for waking you up" apologies the doctor
"It's okay doctor you can come in" I replied glad he's here at least I could talk to him
" How do you feel now?" He asked
"I'm fine already" I smiled
"I'm glad to hear that"
"So can I be discharged already?" I asked hopefully
" thought you were informed you will be discharged tomorrow "
"Yes but I don't think I can't stay here any longer because if I do then I will become sick again" I truthfully say "I seriously don't like the hospital but have to endure and stay for two days but I don't think I can for the third day so please discharge me" I pleaded hopefully
"Fine with me since that's what you want and I can see you have gotten enough rest but please do try and come for checkups "
"Don't worry I will definitely come for that" I replied honestly because I know even if I don't wished to come Sam and father will force me to come with that being said the doctor gave me the discharge paper without further arguments which I smiled "Thank you doctor" I happily thank him which he left leaving me and Sam
" let's get going" he said not wasting time
" but we haven't pack our things" I inquire
"Who?" He asked "well I have take a look around" he says which I did and sure enough he had really packed everything
"Guess I'm not the only one eager to leave here"
"You can say that again" he says "pick Rafael up while I take the luggage out" and I did as instructed before following behind him as we entered the car while Sam drove. We sat quietly but I speak up seeing the route his taking
"I'm i not going back home?" I asked
"No you are not going" comes his reply
"I'm not going to stay in that house I will give the baby to Vivian and leave because that's the deal" I shouted which Sam didn't reply me and we arrived at Charlie's mansion which Sam ambled out of the car and walk to the gate he returns shortly and drive off "what did he say?" I couldn't help but asked
"Nothing" comes his short reply. Sam can be mean and moody sometimes so I decided to keep quiet seeing his not in the mood which we arrived home and I didn't wait for him to open the door for me before walking out
"Daddy" I shouted seeing my father
"Stop running lilly there's a baby in your hand" he reprimand which I slow down
"I miss you" I side huh him because of the baby am holding
"I miss you more though we have seen today" he smiled taking the baby away from my arm
"I'm hungry" I whined
"The food is ready, go to the dinning and serve yourself " which I ambled to the dining area without even taking a glance at Sam but I could hear him talking to father which I didn't care to listen about what they were saying.
It's night already and I haven't heard from Vivian nor Charlie which I wanted to ask Sam or father but I couldn't see myself doing that "You're lost" Mia pointed out since she has been here ever since she close from work
"Just tired that's all" I lied because I couldn't ask her too
"I will get going so you can have enough rest" Mia said
"Can't you sleep over?" I asked hoping she will
"No I can't but next time"
"Humm guess your chew gum Daniel is waiting for you at home"
"Lilly" she warns
"You can leave already" I said because I just don't know why I don't like the guy I have this feeling his a bad news to Mia but she just don't see it because she's blinded by love
"Goodnight"
"Nighty" I replied which she left and I didn't see her off. I slept off on time because Sam was not around and even if he his I don't think we will keep each other company so I decided it's best I sleep
It's been three days I got discharged from the hospital and I haven't heard from both Vivian and Charlie which I decided enough is enough I will take the baby back to them "father" I called to get his attention
"Yes Princess"
"Have decided to take Rafael back to his parents since they didn't come for him" I said directly
"Aren't you the mother?" Sam asked which I keep mute for a while before speaking up
"I am but that doesn't mean I will keep the baby after everything have done"
"Which is?" He asked and I looked at my father seeing his not saying anything
"What the hell do you want from me?" I shouted frustrated "is it that you want me to admit to my mistake or what?" I asked angry "Fine I cheated on Vivian under her roof with her husband which I got pregnant for him" I shouted " that's what you want to hear then I have said it'' I said wiping the lone tear that escape my eye
"You're mixing things up Lilly. You got me all wrong. All I want is for you to know you have right over the child too"
"I know I do but I don't want too because it's selfish of me seeing what Vivian want the most is the child and I promise to give it to her at least I can do that for her after everything she did to me"
"But at least wait for them to come"
"I won't wait for them because if I continue to see Rafael everyday then it's will be difficult for me to give him up because I want to be close to him and see him grow up" I cried because that's my biggest fear letting go of my baby
"Then don't let him go at least Vivian will understand where you're coming from so please forget about going to them"
"Hummm I wished I can but no I can't do that to her" I weep
"Mstwwee" Sam hissed " I don't know the language you want me to used before you understand me"
"There's nothing you will say that will change my mind unless I take the baby back to her and if she did not collect then I will drop him off at the doorstep and leave"
"That will be over my dead body. Are you insane or what?"
"You can say whatever you want but have decided and I have make my choice"
"Try me and see"
"You won't step your foot out of this house"
"Block me and see what I will do" I rushed Into the room and packed everything for the baby and walked back to the living room and saw them still standing where I left them. I picked Rafael up about to step out when Sam words stop me in y track
"Vivian is dead since that's what you want to hear" he shouted and walked out on me leaving me fixed on my position because I couldn't move back nor move forward I turned and saw father walking out too leaving me all alone
