"Didn't you say you eat and drink normal food like regular people?"
"Hmph, I just wanted to punish a worthless man who surrounds himself with women." She snorted haughtily, making her displeasure clear.
Adam protested loudly, "Where did you get that idea from?"
"The silver-haired half-elf, the cute twin maids — three women revolving around you, isn't that enough?"
"…" He wanted to explain it was a misunderstanding, but seeing she clearly wouldn't believe him, he changed the subject, "By the way, where is Subaru?"
"Oh? Changing the subject? And asking about another man right after meeting me?! I was hoping to spend more intimate time with you."
Even though she held the man she cared about in her arms, hearing him speak another's name upset her.
If he had mentioned a woman, that would have been one thing — but a man's name? Even someone as strong as her felt wounded.
"Could it be that you fell for him while I was away?"
"Of course not—that's ridiculous." Adam declared confidently, giving her forehead a playful flick, "Let me be crystal clear: I'm a man who appreciates feminine beauty, and I'm particularly drawn to sophisticated women with elegant curves. There's no question about my preferences."
"Oh my, are you talking about me?" Elsa pressed his head against her exposed bosom, where an enticing fragrance mixed with the sensation of smooth softness filled his nostrils.
After nuzzling around for a while, Adam was finally released. As he gasped for fresh air, he marveled at how he had once again survived her embrace.
He wanted to dive in again, though...
"Stop playing around, Elsa. That kid is really important." Taking a deep breath, he said with complete seriousness, "He cannot die, must not die!"
He spoke with absolute conviction.
Hearing this, Elsa's mouth twitched. She felt her feminine charm had been trampled upon.
If it weren't for Adam's repeated insistence, she would have loved to cut down that trembling, cowardly butler with the fierce eyes.
Adam asked, "Where is he?"
"In the Beast Forest to the north, where Meili is keeping them occupied." Elsa pointed toward the northern forest, saying sweetly, "As you instructed earlier, the blue-haired maid and silver-haired half-elf have been marked with Curse Magic and are now unconscious. That man is fighting against Meili's magic beasts — he's not in mortal danger but he's at a disadvantage, completely helpless."
"Mm, well done!" Seeing her seeking praise, Adam didn't hesitate to compliment her. As if suddenly remembering something, he asked, "By the way, did Subaru see you?"
