To repay the ξ2,000,000 debt, Aqua and Megumin were put to work. Under Adam's strict supervision, the two girls undertook daily quests, departing at dawn and returning at dusk.
While Darkness joined them under the guise of training, Kazuma took on a separate request, temporarily teaming up with Taylor and Dust.
This left Adam with unexpected free time.

He recalled their earlier discussion about asking Ignis to search for rare ingredients. He penned a letter updating him on their situation and making the request.

The force of her sudden rise and collision with the counter created a strong recoil.
The collision caused the bottles and jars on the counter to spill their contents, which flowed down and dripped all over Wiz.
White, yellow, and clear liquids covered her body and face, the colorful fluids creating a stark contrast against her deep purple dress. Her brown hair was also thoroughly soaked.
"Wiz, are you okay?!" Filled with concern and guilt, Adam stepped forward to help the dazed shopkeeper up from under the counter.
If he hadn't startled her, she wouldn't have hit her head or gotten covered in these mysterious liquids, ending up in such an awkward predicament.
Yet this peculiar shop owner had different priorities.
Instead of worrying about her disheveled appearance, she fretted over the knocked-over bottles and their spilled contents.
Ignoring Adam completely, she scrambled to clean up the counter, trying to salvage whatever she could.
"Ah, what a waste." She murmured, staring at the spilled fluids with distress.
"No, even if it's just this little bit, we can't waste it."
Before Adam could stop her, she scooped up some of the white liquid from her clothes with her finger and tasted it.
The scene was too much to handle!
Her innocent expression paired with that worried look completely shattered Adam's composure.
He stumbled backward, his posture stiffening.
'Stop tempting me!' He wanted to shout, while the little devil in his mind screamed, 'More!'
He had to end this before he did something foolish!
Adam cleared his throat, "Ahem, Wiz, what are you doing?"
"Ah, it's Adam!" Wiz finally noticed the 『 Hero 』 Party's leader, snapping out of her distressed state.
"What were you doing just now, lying on the ground?"
"Oh that... some merchandise fell under the counter. I was trying to reach it but couldn't quite get to it, even though it was just a little bit out of reach." She crossed her arms under her chest with a regretful expression, "If only I could reach a bit further."
Hey, you'll make Megumin jealous doing that!
Seeing her ample bosom, Adam understood why she'd had such trouble reaching.
Trying to keep his composure, he gestured at the merchandise on the counter, "So, what are all these bottles and jars? You seem quite upset about spilling them."
"That's right! These are really expensive rare items!" Wiz grew even more distressed as she spoke, gathering up the remaining fluid, "These are edible skincare products that are very popular among female adventurers. This one is lychee flavored, this is mango, and this is apple."
