The image of a tall man with a scarred face appeared in the liquid mirror. His features were distorted into a devilish grimace, which resembled his former nickname as the Demonic Combat Instructor. However, there was another nickname he'd received after training Michael and his friends for a while. He was known as the Saint of the Training Hall.
The mixture of nicknames came into existence because he trained everyone with devilish methods to ensure everyone he trained would survive the dangers of the Origin Expanse. Of course, not everyone survived, but far more Lords and Rogues training under him survived than those who didn't acknowledge the importance of training under him.
"Isn't that Silverian Schild? He's older now…but that's him, right?" Alice asked in surprise. Her eyes widened while Michael smiled gently at the image.
"Yeah, that's Silverian," He mumbled before showing pictures of a massive structure on a planet belonging to the Tritan Alliance. The infrastructure of the massive structure encompassed an entire province, but that was necessary.
After all, the structure was none other than the EmeraldShield Academy. It was an educational institution created after the Saphirelake Military Academy had been destroyed, with Silverian Schild's iron-like voice ruling everything.
He was the director of the EmeraldShield Academy but didn't act differently than before. He was still the same devilish instructor. That was great. Thanks to Silverian Schild, more students of the EmeraldShield Academy would survive in the Origin Expanse and make it big.
"Do you want to visit him? I'd love to talk to him and find out what happened to him in the last few decades. We could also give him a bunch of Energy Stones or a droplet of Origin Liquid. He deserves that much!" Alice exclaimed.
Michael nodded, "We can visit him in the future. As for the gifts, I already tried them. He didn't accept anything I tried giving to him. The only thing I could do was to invest – anonymously, of course – in creating the EmeraldShield Academy. I don't think he would have accepted my investment if I'd revealed myself. But then again, he is not stupid. He probably knows I'm the investor."
He shrugged and smiled again while paying attention to the struggling students suffering under Silverian Schild's tutelage. They were either going to make it big or break. Their willpower was the determining factor of their future.
Michael's attention drifted to someone else who was training students in archery in a different complex of the same building. Silverian Schild was known for training stamina, endurance, and willpower, but that was now all that could be studied in the EmeraldShield Academy. Archery was also one of the greatest subjects in the academy.
"That…is Annabelle Claire," Michael recalled the young Awakened. Michael fought her during the first assessment exam of the Saphirelake Military Academy. They talked only a few times, but she had always been nice. She was a decently powerful Awakened then and known for her great Soultrait Symbol called [Spirit Archer]. She didn't keep up with Lincoln, Zeke, Kaleb, or Michael, but she was at the Peak of the 6th Tier at this point.
Her growth was rapid compared to most of her peers, but instead of continuing her grind, Annabelle switched to teaching students.
"I think I remember her. Didn't she like you?" Alice asked, but Michael could only shrug, "I don't think she liked me. If anything, she liked Kaleb."
"Kaleb? Are you sure?" Alice asked before studying Annabelle again, "She's cute. Maybe Kaleb would have it easier…No nevermind. Let's forget about that."
Michael knew exactly what Alice was thinking about and smiled at her. Thus, he switched to another familiar face, an elderly man, who changed Michael's life forever.
Kraft Viton.
"Oh! What is Kraft Viton up to these days?" Alice asked, which was enough to make Michael smile, "He is still doing the same as always. If anything has changed, it would probably be that Kraft Viton is more energetic since he consumed the Origin Liquid droplet. You could say he is in full control of the Tritan Alliance now. Sometimes, you can see him beat the shit out of idiotic politicians. Those parts are the funniest."
"You can't be serious," Alice chuckled, only to burst into a full-blown laughter when Michael replayed the scenes from his memories in the liquid mirror. Kraft Viton beating the crap out of more than a dozen politicians, who'd considered themselves far more important than they truly were, had been beaten black and blue by an old man.
He slapped them a few times in the face, kicked them in the crotch, and had a lot more fun beating up weaklings than expected.
"He is a bully!" Alice exclaimed, but rather than considering that a bad thing, she enjoyed herself thoroughly
"As long as he only bullies the bad people, that's fine," Michael said, his expression turning somber as he recalled something else. A bad person who'd changed his life.
The liquid mirror switched to Quinn Karta.
"Oh shit! You know where Quinn is?" Alice asked, and Michael sighed deeply. Still, he nodded.
"He has been on the run for a few decades now, but the Guardians know where everyone connected to the weave is located. It didn't take long to find him. In fact, a few seconds was all it took for me to locate him," Michael sighed deeply. Quinn Karta destroyed the lives of many people in the Tritan Alliance. He was a traitor, a killer.
Still, Michael didn't pursue him to attack and eliminate him. No, that wasn't his task.
"I will give Zeke a hint, allowing him to hunt him down once he's ready for it."
"Zeke? Are you sure? Why not Killian? Or is Killian still troubled rebuilding the house of Zeus?"
"KIllian Zeus?" Michael asked, sighing once again, "He disappeared. I don't know where he is. That means…"
"Is he dead?" Alice asked, a wave of sadness overcoming her.
"No. Well, saying that I don't know where he is is not exactly the full truth. I know where he could be," Michael said, pointing at the border to the Unknown Domain, "He left the Origin Universe."
