Misha also looked over expectantly.
"Dozens of Red Emperor Blood Crystals, possibly over a hundred," Ji Xinghuo answered.
Clearly, the beast-skin bag had fallen from the corpse of Chie Guloke; yesterday, as the various armies reconvened in the camp, He Yan along with several other Highlanders leading troops, submitted all their acquired Blood Crystals to Guloke upon arrival.
In the Blood Fury Tribe, Chie Guloke held all the power, including the distribution of Red Emperor Blood Crystals, and none dared to defy him.
The plan was to distribute them after the final battle, but he died.
Just the Blood Crystals handed over by He Yan amounted to over thirty. Adding the others from different factions, the total was very likely to exceed a hundred!

Xia Qingyu and Misha’s breathing became heavy and their eyes sparkled.

During the conversation, he hurriedly caught up and leaped onto the same horse as Misha.
"I knew you’d come," Misha glanced back at him, smiling.
But Xia Qingyu’s face was serious as he said, "I’ve seen too many die from greed. I hope this time, it isn’t our turn."
He was speaking to Misha, but his eyes were fixed on Ji Xinghuo.
"You didn’t have to come," Ji Xinghuo replied indifferently.

Xia Qingyu and Misha both were startled, not understanding why Ji Xinghuo abruptly killed people, until they saw two Highlanders gripping spears, using their bodies as shields—it was then clear they had already harbored ill intentions towards them.
"Swap for their horses," Ji Xinghuo said nonchalantly to both of them.
The six-legged warhorses of these Highlanders were obviously superior and since they hadn’t crossed the river to flee the battlefield, the horses were still quite energetic.
They each switched to a six-legged warhorse and continued forward.
When they had somewhat caught up to He Yan, Ji Xinghuo instructed Qing Hong to slow down, maintaining a distance of about three thousand meters.
After a short pursuit, Ji Xinghuo suddenly looked back.
As soon as Xia Qingyu’s question left his lips, he saw a huge, blurry shadow sweep over their heads, a terrifying presence enveloping them before disappearing ahead.
The Mist Shadow Dragon!
His face filled with shock, he couldn’t help but ask, "Is this Dragon Lord also after He Yan?"
"Don’t know," Ji Xinghuo couldn’t be certain.
Just now on the battlefield, the Mist Shadow Dragon had been held back by those relentless Blood Demon Bats; it was unable to wreak havoc on the Blood Fury Tribe’s army. With Chie Guloke’s death, the Blood Demon Bats instantly lost their will to fight and scattered in the lead of several Legends.
The Mist Shadow Dragon didn’t pursue the Blood Demon Bats and vanished in the sky.
Now, it had suddenly reappeared.
Ji Xinghuo’s gaze followed the Mist Shadow Dragon’s movement. Others couldn’t clearly see the Mist Shadow Dragon, but it was easy to locate in his electromagnetic perception.
Soon, the Mist Shadow Dragon flew above the fleeing Highlander soldiers, circled halfway, then dove down emitting a burst of Dragon Breath.
Its form became visible as it exhaled Dragon Breath.
"It’s indeed looking for He Yan!" Xia Qingyu said gravely, "It’s not just us targeting him."
The group of Highlanders, numbering in the hundreds, panicked and scattered in all directions as the Mist Shadow Dragon appeared in the sky. The Dragon Breath swept over them, killing over a hundred of the unlucky ones.
However, He Yan wasn’t among them.
He, along with about twenty Highlanders, fled desperately, not looking back.
The Mist Shadow Dragon flew higher again, turning back in the sky to continue hunting Highlanders, but not the group He Yan was with.
He Yan had disguised himself well and had held back from attacking, so the Dragon Lord did not notice him.
