The Highlander woman shouted.
Her arm muscles had noticeably swollen, her skin turning bronze as if cast from metal, and the heavy axe as big as a cartwheel in her hand was as light as a stick, swinging furiously and creating a fierce airstream with an astonishing momentum.
This did not seem like a joke; she truly intended to split him in half.

Ji Xinghuo’s expression changed slightly, but there was no time to explain. Three-colored Scale Armor emerged on his hands as if he had slipped on a pair of gauntlets, and he stepped forward to meet the charge.
The Highlander woman’s combat skills were excellent.

The Highlander woman’s face contorted in pain, flying backward, and heavily falling onto the ground in the courtyard, creating a crater. She tried to rise again when a thunderclap sounded above her head.
A thick lightning bolt fell from the sky, striking her head precisely.
The Highlander woman felt dizzy, her body numbed, and when she regained clarity in her mind, she discovered a massive axe pressing against her neck. The strength from the axe was terrifying, making it hard for her to get up.
"You have the wrong person,"
Ji Xinghuo said, furrowing his eyebrows.
"You are not Xia Qingyu!" the Highlander woman also realized, staring at Ji Xinghuo with a mixture of hate and curiosity, "Xia Qingyu isn’t as strong as you, who are you?"
Xia Qingyu’s head emerged from a second-floor bedroom window, his face slightly embarrassed, introducing, "He’s my cousin. Misha, long time no see."

As she spoke, Misha attempted to jump up, only to remember she was still being pinned to the ground by Ji Xinghuo with an axe, glaring at him, "You’re helping this scoundrel?"
Ji Xinghuo looked at her, then up at Xia Qingyu on the second floor.
"Don’t let her mess around," Xia Qingyu quickly called out.
"Get lost, this is none of your business."
Misha’s pupils turned black, the black tattoos on her cheeks glowing, a destructive aura spreading around her, her strength surged, and her bronze skin gained a layer of black sheen.
Ji Xinghuo’s heart skipped a beat.
He hesitated for a moment, then decided to step aside and watch, thus he backed away a few steps but didn’t return the axe to her.
Xia Qingyu muttered as he sensed trouble, his figure flickering and vanishing from the window.
Misha immediately sprang up and climbed up to the second floor barehanded but didn’t find Xia Qingyu. Turning her head, she saw a faint shadow leap from the balcony, hurdle over the wall, and vanish from sight in an instant.
"Scumbag, you better not run!" the Highlander woman shouted while chasing after him.
In a blink, only Ji Xinghuo was left in the courtyard, examining the colossal axe in his hands and shaking his head.
Xia Qingyu had deliberately exposed himself while escaping to lure Misha away, and since Misha hadn’t insisted on taking back the axe, it was clear she didn’t really intend to kill Xia Qingyu.
Their emotional entanglement was far from over.
Ji Xinghuo turned and went back inside, leaned the giant axe against the wall, took out some food to feed Qing Hong, then entered the Cultivation Room to train.
