The Hell Prince Pirates' vessel, The Dreadnaught, sailed across the sea with unmatched speed.
"At this rate, we'll reach Drum Kingdom soon," Tony noted.
Dave nodded in response. His aim was straightforward: he wanted the Munch Munch Fruit for himself. After obtaining the Armor Armor Fruit, he planned to combine it with the Munch Munch Fruit to upgrade his armor capabilities. Additionally, he had his sights set on the Split-Split Fruit, Fusion Fruit, and, if possible, Shiki's Devil Fruit to expand his arsenal even further.
He aimed to create the ultimate Armor Armor Fruit by combining it with the Munch Munch, Fusion Fusion, Split Split, and, finally, the Soul Soul Fruit.
As for other fruits, he could simply acquire them to give his armor various elemental powers—like Enel's Lightning Fruit to create a Lightning Suit, and similar abilities.
While waiting to reach Drum Island, everyone on the ship trained. Even their new chef joined in, and now everyone had achieved the initial stages of Haki mastery. Dave and Tony, however, had awakened their Conqueror's Haki, or "Overlord Haki," a feat exclusive to the two of them among the crew. Dave was pleasantly surprised to find Tony had this ability, but knowing Tony's importance in Marvel, it wasn't shocking.
As the ship continued sailing, they soon arrived at Drum Island, but the sight was far from pleasant. The island was under attack by pirates.
"Tony, go high in the air and check if anyone is trying to escape," Dave instructed. Tony looked at him, then nodded, activating his Turbo suit and flying high to scan the surroundings.
'Hm, there really is someone trying to flee,' Tony thought, informing Dave, who then told him to capture the individual. As he spotted the Blackbeard Pirates' ship, Dave realized it was the exact moment Teach was attacking Drum Kingdom for the Munch Munch Fruit. "Well, I wasn't initially aiming for this fruit, but it seems he's delivered it to me on a silver platter," Dave thought, jumping down and landing on Blackbeard's ship.
"Zehahaha! Who are you?" Blackbeard laughed as he noticed Dave.
"You can call me Hell Prince," Dave replied, looking him straight in the eye.
"Zehahaha, you think you can defeat me?!" Blackbeard taunted, standing up and releasing his Conqueror's Haki.
In response, Dave unleashed his own Haki, but Blackbeard's intense presence momentarily overwhelmed him. "Well, I have just awakened it," Dave thought, closing the distance with a swift movement, drawing his Rebellion blade as he prepared to engage.
Teach stopped Dave's sword, Rebellion, with just his hand, which turned pitch black with advanced Armament Haki. Dave glanced at Teach's Haki and nodded approvingly. "Well, it wouldn't be fun if you weren't that powerful," he remarked with a smirk, taking a step back.
Without hesitation, Dave entered his Devil Form—a more streamlined transformation that made his body appear as if wrapped in intricate, dark armor, with faint, ember-like lines tracing his skin, resembling a demonic suit of armor. His eyes burned with a fierce, crimson glow, and his strength amplified.
Teach raised an eyebrow, intrigued by Dave's transformation but unfazed. "Zehahaha! Devil Fruit? Fancy tricks won't scare me," he taunted, his blackened fist tightening as he prepared to strike.
Dave unleashed his psychic powers, locking Blackbeard in place as he swung his sword, Rebellion, aiming straight for his neck. Teach's eyes widened in surprise, but his entire body quickly turned pitch black, negating the psychic effect as he slipped free and deflected the blade just in time. "What... are you?" he asked, a rare tone of seriousness in his voice as he studied Dave's demonic form.
Dave grinned darkly. "Me? I am the Hell Prince," he replied as he advanced once more, his Armament Haki intensifying. This time, his Devi Arm Rebellion was changed into a different form—Gilgamesh—a protective armor-like layer that could absorb and nullify incoming attacks and as well relase them as shockwaves.
Blackbeard dodged Dave's next onslaught, but the unusual weapon and armored Haki left him in awe. "What's with that armor... what is that thing?" he demanded.
"Why do you care?" Dave replied coolly before throwing a powerful shockwave punch directly at Teach, who was thrown backward and slammed into the deck. Teach let out a pained shout, gripping his side. "Damn it... it hurts! It actually hurts!" he bellowed as his Dark-Dark Fruit powers surged, absorbing the impact and increasing the pain highly. But as his Logia-type fruit didn't grant intangibility, each hit Dave landed was undeniably effective.
Teach stumbled to his feet, glaring at Dave with fury and intrigue, realizing that this fight might be far more intense than he anticipated.
Dave glared at Blackbeard, the rotating blades on his shoes sparking briefly before he vanished and reappeared right in front of Teach. With a swift punch to his gut, Teach gasped, unable to respond before Dave landed punch after punch, his fists slamming into Teach's face and body relentlessly. Blackbeard, battered and bloodied, barely managed to stay conscious, his body drenched in his own blood.
Suddenly, Dave felt a sharp, piercing pain in his chest. Glancing down, he saw a sword embedded in him, only for it to be yanked out just as quickly. Turning around, he faced a muscular man with a scarred, half-grinning face and Viking-like helmet—Jesus Burgess.
"Die!" Burgess roared, launching another attack. But before he could strike, Blackbeard shouted, "No! Don't underestimate him!"
Too late. In a flash, Dave's blade swung, and Burgess's head flew off, leaving a trail of blood. The other Blackbeard Pirates—Van Augur, Doc Q, and Lafitte—looked on, stunned and cautious.
"Kill them all," Dave commanded, his voice cold. His allies emerged, eager for a fight.
"I've been waiting for some action," Trish smirked, transforming into her devilish form as she faced Lafitte. Pepper and Diana squared off against Doc Q, while Emma took on Van Augur.
"Hope you're more of a challenge than the last crew," Emma taunted, recalling the countless pirates they had already defeated on their journey.
