Soon, Dave was back at his home, arriving at his penthouse. Reaching the top, he entered his room to find Trish sprawled on the bed, wearing nightwear.
Dave raised an eyebrow, taking in the sight before diving into the comfortable scene he was presented with.
"Go and investigate the Obadiah guy. He's the same one who had a kill order on my head," Dave patted Trish's head as she lay on his chest, her breathing steady.
"Let me rest. I'm aching down there," Trish mumbled sleepily, her eyes closed as she drifted back into sleep.
Dave smiled, gently nodding. Soon, after carefully leaving Trish resting on the bed, he went to his desk and began to plan his next move.
"I need my own organization first," Dave wrote down as he began sketching ideas for the future.
1. Capable Team Members:
a. Fighters - Skilled individuals who can engage in combat.
b. Logistics - People to handle the flow of supplies, information, and communication.
c. Scientists - Researchers and engineers for developing advanced tech.
d. Tech Experts - Hackers, programmers, and people who can manipulate modern systems.
e. Medics - A team that can provide medical aid and keep everyone in top condition.
2. Base of Operations:
a. Isolated Location - A place that ensures privacy and secrecy.
b. Fully Sustainable - Self-sufficient to prevent reliance on external sources.
c. A Mobile Option - In case it needs to relocate or avoid detection.
"That should cover most of the groundwork," Dave thought as he finalized the basic plan, his mind working on how to recruit the right people and secure the necessary resources to build this organization.
He also started thinking about the perfect base. One that would give him the freedom and stealth he needed to operate without drawing attention.
Dave crossed his hands as he looked at the list of potential team members he'd need for his organization. "Hmm, there are those Black Widows," he mused, considering the trained assassins. "I could save them, and those willing, could join me."
He then thought about another key figure. "And then there's also the Winter Soldier. Bucky could be a valuable asset, with his skills and experience."
Dave's eyes lit up with a hint of excitement as another possibility crossed his mind. "And if possible, I should also check if there's Spider-Man... that's my favorite." He chuckled softly, thinking of the young hero's abilities and how useful he could be in the future.
"If I want to build a true SHIELD, I have to start from scratch," Dave mumbled to himself, realizing the monumental task ahead.
He paused, thinking about potential resources. "Hmm, there's also Killian and his Extremis Virus... Now that I think of it, it could really help me." The Extremis Virus, known for its ability to rewrite genetic code, seemed like the perfect tool for enhancing his own operatives. "If I could get my hands on that, I could safely enhance my team."
Dave thought back, remembering Killian's obsession with perfecting the Extremis program. "He might still be working on it... I could approach him, but I'll need leverage." He pondered how to best manipulate the situation, knowing he had to be careful around someone as unpredictable as Killian.
Then his mind shifted to another crucial component: technology. "That leaves me with a tech guy. Hmm, was there any other character who was proficient in tech like Tony?" Dave dug deep into his knowledge of the Marvel universe, trying to identify someone who could rival Stark's genius. He thought of characters like Shuri from Wakanda, who had incredible tech expertise, or even someone like Forge, who had a mutant ability to understand and invent technology.
"Shuri could be an interesting ally," Dave mused, "but getting her on board might be tricky. And Forge... if he exists in this universe, he'd be a game changer." He leaned back, strategizing how to approach these tech giants without drawing too much attention to his growing plans.
"I need to start forming alliances carefully. One wrong move, and this whole thing could fall apart."
"And maybe that's why I got it" Dave thought as he looked at the reward he got after accepting the Quest of Fury.
Rather than a reward it was more like an Quest Item .

Dave leaned back in his chair, his mind racing. "With this... I could secure loyalty, guaranteed," he thought. This contract would be the key to ensuring absolute loyalty from those he recruited into his organization or those who could help him build SHIELD.
"If I use this right, I can sign people like Killian, Bucky, or even the Black Widows without any risk of betrayal," Dave smirked, realizing the strategic power of the contract.
"First, I should check whether there are mutants in this universe or not," Dave thought, pulling out his phone. He typed in "Frost International" and hit search.
"She's here too," Dave smirked as he gazed at the elegant image of Emma Frost, the White Queen of the Hellfire Club. Her presence confirmed that mutants did indeed exist in this universe. "She sure is a beauty," he mused, deciding he would try to meet her. Emma Frost was a formidable telepath and a businesswoman with significant influence, especially if she was already a member of the Hellfire Club.
"Though, why aren't there any mutant laws or conflicts I've heard about so far?" Dave mumbled to himself, puzzled by the lack of mutant-related incidents or laws. Typically, in universes with mutants, there were always controversies and public debates about their existence.
He also searched the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters but hadn't heard anything significant about it either. "No news of any mutant-related conflicts... strange." Dave frowned, realizing that in this version of reality, mutants might not be as prominent, or they might be in hiding.
"So, it's not the cinematic universe after all," Dave leaned back, his mind racing. When he first saw Tony Stark—who looked just like Robert Downey Jr.—he assumed it was the cinematic universe. But now, with mutants quietly existing without the typical conflict, it was clear this universe followed different rules.
"Whatever the case, I should meet Emma," Dave decided.
