The blinding light of the Tournament’s end faded, and the warriors of Universe 7 felt solid ground beneath their feet once more.
They were back—on Earth.
The skies above were clear, the breeze gentle. It was as if the world itself had waited in silence for its protectors to return.
A few moments passed. Then—
Bulma ran forward and embraced Vegeta tightly, tears in her eyes. Trunks and Bulla wrapped around his legs.
Chi-Chi wept openly as Goku laughed and hugged her back, lifting Goten off the ground into the air.
Krillin tackled Android 18 in relief, while Maron cheered, jumping up and down.
Piccolo stood quietly with Dende, the two sharing a rare smile.
Gohan and Videl reunited with Pan, who cooed happily in her mother’s arms.
And standing a bit apart from the crowd... Dave.
Arms folded, a calm smile on his face.
"You did good," Roshi said, coming to stand beside him.
Dave chuckled. "I’m just glad we’re still breathing."
Farther off, Frieza floated quietly into the sky. Whis watched him with a knowing smile before giving a light tap of his staff—reviving the tyrant’s physical body as promised.
"You’re really reviving me?" Frieza asked, confused and bewildered.
Whis nodded. "Off you go—unless you’d prefer to come celebrate with us."
Frieza snorted. "I’m leaving. Living and fighting alongside monkeys was more than enough for me."
With that, he launched himself into space, vanishing into the stars.
Later that evening...
A massive feast lit up Capsule Corp., filled with music, food, laughter, and battle stories shouted across the tables.
Beerus sat in a large chair, eating dozens of plates of food while muttering about how he let them win.
Whis sipped tea nearby, smiling as he observed the lively gathering.
Android 17 stood quietly under the stars, a cup in his hand. Dave approached him.
"You okay?" Dave asked.
"Yeah," 17 replied. "Still thinking about what we fought for. What we almost lost."
Dave nodded. "You saved more than just our universe, you know."
"I know," 17 said, then smirked. "Still wouldn’t mind that cruise ship."
Dave laughed. "I’ll chip in."
Meanwhile, Goku and Vegeta were already sparring again in the backyard, despite Bulma and Chi-Chi yelling at them to stop before they ruined the cake table.
As the night came to a close and everyone either went home, drifted off to sleep, or passed out on the floor, Dave sat quietly on the roof of the house, gazing up at the stars.
"Hmm... now that my Template is completed, I can return," he said softly to himself.
He reached into his coat and pulled out a small note from his system inventory and placed it aside near him.
"Okay system lets go bakc" Dave mumbled as his second later his body went limp as Dave left the body of Broly and returning to Marvel.
As Dave’s presence faded, Broly suddenly opened his eyes—startled. He looked around, confused.
"Where... am I?" he asked, standing in a quiet clearing. "This isn’t the place I was supposed to be..."
He took in his surroundings. The landscape was peaceful, stars above, no sign of destruction or enemies.
Then, off to the side, he noticed a small piece of folded paper resting on a rock.
Broly picked it up and opened it.
Inside was a message:
My name is Dave. I borrowed your body for a while—hope you don’t mind.
You’re now on Earth. There are a few Saiyans still around, and it’s your choice if you want to live with them. The food’s great too.
Also... while I was in your body, I might’ve pushed it a little. You’ll find that it unlocked some new powers. Sorry if it feels weird—just give it time.
As Broly finished reading, the paper lit up and burned away into faint blue flames.
"...What was that?" Broly murmured.
He suddenly heard soft footsteps behind him and turned, instantly alert.
"Broly? What are you doing here?" came a calm voice.
It was Gohan, gently flying down from above, scanning the area. "I was just looking for Pan—she flew off again. You should probably get some rest."
Broly looked at him silently, eyes narrowing in curiosity. "You... you’re a Saiyan."
Gohan blinked. "Did you say something?"
Broly looked away and shook his head.
As Gohan floated off, Broly mumbled to himself, "It’s true..."
He gazed up at the quiet night sky, the gentle hum of distant city lights filling the peaceful atmosphere. For the first time he saw such peaceful place, it was totally different from the planet he first opned his eyes.
Broly looked down at his hands, clenching and unclenching his fists slowly.
"I’m definitely stronger..." he murmured to himself, sensing the raw power coursing through his body.
Suddenly, a voice rang out from behind.
"Good. You’re awake. Let’s fight."
Broly turned swiftly, eyes narrowing. Standing across from him was another Saiyan—arms crossed, eyes sharp with challenge.
"Who are you?" Broly asked, tensing slightly.
Vegeta smirked. "Enough with the questions. Let’s fight."
Without waiting, Vegeta charged forward and launched a swift punch toward Broly’s face.
The punch landed clean—but Broly didn’t even flinch. He stood still, head turned slightly from the impact, barely fazed.
Vegeta’s eyes widened. "Huh? Why didn’t you defend yourself?"
Broly slowly turned back, the side of his face barely reddened. His voice was calm—but cold.
"I don’t know who you are... but since you attacked me, you’re clearly an enemy."
Vegeta’s smirk faded as he instinctively slid into a battle stance. "So be it, then."
With no warning, Broly lunged forward, the ground beneath him exploding from the sheer force of his leap. His punch connected with Vegeta’s crossed arms, but the impact was titanic.
Vegeta was blasted backward like a missile, flying through several boulders and crashing into a distant mountain ridge. The force of the hit triggered a tremor so powerful it shook the city miles away. Windows rattled. Birds scattered from trees. People woke in confusion.
Back at the crater, Broly stood tall, his eyes glowing faintly in the moonlight, breathing steady—but his power rising.
