"Yep, I’m planning to," Dave nodded, groaning slightly as he stretched.
Whis looked at Dave with interest and said, "I think that’s a good idea. I can help you master your powers."
Dave offered a faint smile in return. Unbeknownst to most of them, he had only been using 50% of his power in all his fights so far. Under Whis’ guidance, he had trained secretly in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber for two years, mastering techniques and forms he hadn’t yet revealed. He was waiting—for the Tournament of Power.
As Dave stepped toward the entrance to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, he glanced upward, eyes focused and mind calm.

He knew something else too... as the Broly template inside him continued to awaken and resonate, the more his emotions surged, the more his true power would rise.
The Day of Tournament of Power
The stage of the Null Realm was complete—an endless void with a single massive arena suspended in the void of time and space. Floating high above, the Gods of Destruction, their attendants, and the two Zenos awaited with bored curiosity as the combatants from all twelve universes began appearing one by one.
Universe 7’s team had arrived.
Goku stood near the edge of the platform, smiling with anticipation. Vegeta crossed his arms, eyes scanning the opposing universes with contempt. Piccolo, Androids 17 and 18, Gohan, Krillin, Tien, and Master Roshi followed behind. At the rear stood Dave—Broly—with a calm intensity that radiated from him like pressure before a storm.
"Looks like everyone’s here," Goku said with a grin.
"Not quite," Whis added, appearing behind them. "Majin Buu is unable to participate. His body entered deep stasis and shows no signs of waking in time."
Frieza stepped forward, his aura flickering gold for a second. "So I’m taking his place. Not that I mind—more chances to eliminate the trash from the multiverse."

Dave remained silent. He looked out at the vast crowd, then toward the Grand Priest who stepped forward to explain the rules.
"Remember," Whis said, his voice light but firm. "No weapons, no killing, and the last universe standing will be spared. All others—erased."
Dave’s gaze hardened. He remembered what Whis had said—do or die.
Suddenly, the Grand Priest raised his hand. "Let the Tournament of Power... begin!"
A massive gong rang out. Energy exploded from the platform as fighters surged forward, dozens clashing instantly. Goku and Vegeta split off into the fray. Gohan and Piccolo took defensive formation. Android 17 leapt into aerial combat—using platforms of debris. 18 and Krillin moved cautiously.
Dave... simply stood still.
A warrior from Universe 9 dashed at him—confident, sharp, fast. "You’re dead!"
But before he could even land a strike—BOOM!
Dave’s punch landed with such force, the attacker was launched like a missile out of the arena, vanishing into the void below. The Zenos clapped in childlike joy.
"Nice punch!" the Grand Zeno chirped.
Whis chuckled. "Ah. He’s not even warmed up."
Beerus nodded slowly. "Let’s see how far he can go..."
The Tournament of Power had truly begun—and within seconds, the arena was a hurricane of chaos.
Fighters from all twelve universes surged into battle, unleashing beams, fists, roars, and flurries of energy. The sheer pressure from their combined powers bent the very air around the arena. The Great Priest watched impassively as gods and mortals alike held their breath.
Dave, still calm and collected, slowly stepped into the fray.
A trio of Universe 4 warriors circled him, small and nimble, hoping to wear him down with speed. They vanished and reappeared around him in flashes, striking with lightning-fast jabs. But Dave didn’t even flinch. His eyes tracked their patterns like a predator.
Dave’s knee came up and knocked the first one out cold mid-air.
Another tried a spinning kick—
He caught their leg and swung them into the third like a bat into a ball. Both were sent hurtling out of bounds, disqualified in one sweep.
From above, Android 17 launched a volley of energy discs at a group of Universe 10 fighters. "Don’t let your guard down!" he called, already moving to intercept another threat.
Nearby, Piccolo and Gohan worked in seamless tandem, parrying and countering a tag team from Universe 3. Gohan’s calm precision and Piccolo’s strategic support allowed them to hold their ground without breaking a sweat.
On the other side of the arena, Frieza laughed as he effortlessly knocked a Universe 2 warrior out of the ring with a flick of his tail. "You really thought beauty alone could win battles? Pitiful."
"Don’t go too far, Frieza!" Krillin shouted while barely dodging a surprise kick.
"I’m merely cleaning house, cueball," Frieza replied, smirking.
Tien and Krillin, working together to handle sneak attackers and illusion-based fighters. Despite their lower power levels, their technique and discipline kept them in the fight longer than expected.
An explosion of energy drew everyone’s attention. Toppo of Universe 11, second only to Jiren, had entered the battle, clashing with a trio of Universe 6 Saiyans.
Caulifla, Kale, and Cabba had just formed up and were fighting in sync, determined to hold their own.
"Don’t underestimate Universe 6!" Caulifla growled, blocking one of Toppo’s blows with a flare of golden energy.
From above, Dave watched calmly. But his eyes narrowed when he saw Jiren, still standing at the center of the arena—unmoving, but exuding power like a volcano waiting to erupt.
Vegeta, glancing toward the silent titan, scoffed. "So that’s the one they keep talking about."
"Yeah," Goku said, standing beside him again. "That’s the guy I want to fight."
Vegeta smirked. "Get in line."
Meanwhile, Dave turned his gaze back toward the encroaching battlefield. Universe 6’s Namekians had begun moving in on Piccolo and Gohan, while warriors from Universe 2 surrounded 18 and Krillin.
And above all the madness, the Grand Priest and the Zenos observed, amused and entertained.
The battle for survival had only just begun.
