Both sides braced for the inevitable clash as Dave's forces reached the gates of Mary Geoise. The towering city, glimmering under the sunlight, stood as a fortress that had reigned over the world for centuries. Now, its sanctity was about to be violated by the very revolutionaries it sought to suppress.
On one side stood the combined might of the Neo Marines, Whitebeard Pirates, and their allies. At the forefront was Dave, his presence exuding confidence and calm authority. Zephyr, with Aokiji, Kizaru, and Rhodes at his side, stood tall, embodying the hope of a new era. Behind them, their armies prepared to launch into battle.
On the other side, the remnants of the old Marine forces, bolstered by Cipher Pol agents and World Government loyalists, formed an unyielding wall. The Five Elders, dressed in regal combat attire, stood defiant, guarding the Celestial Dragons hidden in their palatial chambers. Above them, on an elevated throne obscured by shadows, sat Im—the enigmatic ruler who had silently controlled the world for over 800 years.
The tension was palpable.
One of the Elders stepped forward, his voice carrying across the battlefield like a commandment. "Dave! This is your last chance. Surrender this foolish rebellion, kneel before us, and we will grant you the highest honor—becoming a Celestial Dragon. You could rule alongside us!"
Dave didn't flinch. Instead, a faint smirk spread across his lips. His gaze was unwavering as he replied, "Why would I beg for something I can take for myself?"
The Elder's face contorted with rage, but before he could react, Dave moved. In an instant, faster than anyone could follow, he appeared before the Elder, sword in hand. With one swift motion, his blade pierced the Elder's chest, emerging from his back. The Elder's eyes widened in shock as Dave twisted the blade and yanked it free, holding the Elder's still-beating heart aloft.
"You mistake arrogance for strength," Dave said coldly, crushing the heart in his hand.
The battlefield erupted into chaos.
The remaining Elders rushed toward Dave, fury blazing in their eyes. Im, still seated on his shadowed throne, watched the scene unfold in silence, a glint of interest in his otherwise inscrutable gaze.
"So, he truly is different," Im murmured to himself. "Not just anyone can wield such audacity... or power." His voice was calm, but a subtle tension underlined his words as he considered the growing threat.
"You underestimate him at your peril," Im warned the other Elders telepathically. But they ignored him, rushing at Dave in blind rage.
The war began in earnest.
Tony Stark, equipped with a new Iron Man suit crafted specifically for this battle, unleashed an arsenal of weapons on the battlefield. Beside him, Enel called down devastating bolts of lightning, his powers amplified by the new technology Stark had provided. Kizaru's light-based attacks clashed with World Government forces, scattering them like ants under a magnifying glass.
Rhodes and Aokiji held their ground against advancing Marines, freezing and shattering enemies with precise coordination. Zephyr barked commands, leading his troops with unmatched resolve, his cybernetic arm carving a path through the chaos.
The Elders proved formidable, their centuries of combat experience and mastery of forbidden techniques pushing Dave to his limits. However, his enhanced abilities, bolstered by the Whitebeard template and his unrelenting will, allowed him to stand toe-to-toe with these ancient rulers.
Amidst the pandemonium, Im remained still, observing from his throne. For now, he chose not to intervene. But his presence loomed over the battlefield like a storm cloud, his true intentions shrouded in mystery.
The war had begun, and the world itself seemed to hold its breath, awaiting the outcome of a battle that would decide the fate of all.
The world watched in awe and terror as the war unfolded, broadcast live by Morgans. From his airship, the famed reporter barked commands to his crew, ensuring every possible angle was captured. "This will be the story of the century!" Morgans exclaimed, his wings fluttering with excitement as he stared at the screens showing the brutal clash.
In the territories of the other Emperors, Kaido, Big Mom, and Shanks sat in their respective domains, grim-faced. Each of them had tuned into the broadcast, their usual bravado replaced with a solemn silence.
"That brat is dangerous," Kaido muttered, his grip tightening on his kanabo.
"He's a wolf among sheep," Big Mom said, her voice laced with a rare hint of unease.
Shanks watched quietly, his sharp eyes taking in every detail. He didn't speak, but the tension in his jaw betrayed his concern.
Back on the battlefield, Dave stood amidst the carnage. In just minutes, he had slain the Five Elders, cutting them down with brutal efficiency. The world watched in shock as he stood over their lifeless bodies, his blade dripping with blood. It was as if a wolf had descended upon a flock of chickens, tearing through them with ease.
Dave turned his attention to Im, who had yet to move from his shadowed throne. Calmly, he walked toward the enigmatic figure, his voice cutting through the chaos like a blade.
"You know," Dave began, his tone almost casual, "if I wanted, I could destroy this entire world by myself." He gestured around him, as if to emphasize the ease with which he could bring about such devastation.
Im remained seated, silent but unmoved, observing Dave with an unreadable expression.
"But I'm not here to destroy," Dave continued. "I want to give this world a chance—a chance to gain its freedom by its own hands." He stopped, standing face-to-face with Im. His piercing gaze bore into the shadowed figure. "You, however, seem foolish enough to cling to your throne even in the face of certain death."
Im chuckled softly, a sound that sent chills through the battlefield. "You mistake caution for weakness," he said, rising from his seat. "Compared to you, I may appear as a child. But even a child can wield the power to change the tides."
Dave smirked at the veiled threat. "Then show me what you've got."
