Su Chengyu looked over at Duan Feiyu and asked, "Who is he?"
"He’s after Xiaoxiao but unfortunately she’s not into him. You probably made him feel jealous by driving over in a better car." Zhang Xiaomo commented.
"Why the hell would I be jealous of him? This car is worth nearly ten million, not something just anyone can afford. Judging by his clothes, he doesn’t look like someone who’s rich. He’s probably just renting a supercar, putting on airs that he can’t afford." Duan Feiyu said with a snigger.
"My brother bought this car, stop spouting nonsense," Su Xiaoxiao retorted angrily.
"Bought it? Have you got any proof? Show the driving license and your ID," smirked Duan Feiyu.
"Who the hell are you? Do I need to prove anything to you?"
Su Chengyu replied coldly, not bothering to engage with such a buffoon.
"Exactly, we don’t need to deal with him. He’s simply bitter because his affection for Xiaoxiao is unrequited." Zhang Xiaomo chimed.
"Hard to believe that Senior Duan is that kinda person." The others also shook their heads in disapproval.
"I’m merely disgusted by people’s attempts to inflate their own worth." Duan Feiyu defended himself.
Then, two more cars pulled into the school, a Rolls-Royce Ghost and a Bentley Continental, both of which completely overshadowed Duan Feiyu’s vehicle.
"Holy crap! Are those two more luxury cars worth millions?"
"It’s the first time I’ve seen so many luxury cars at Linjiang University. What an eye-opener!"
The students around were stunned, most of them come from ordinary families, these luxury cars were but distant dreams.
The Rolls-Royce, even if one isn’t familiar with cars, everyone knows it’s worth millions. It emits a totally different aura when it’s on the road.
"Brother Su, aren’t these cars arranged by you to pick us up and take us to the restaurant?" Zhang Xiaomo asked, baffled.
"Must be, I just asked them to send two cars over, didn’t precisely know which ones."
Su Chengyu had called Xu Lingshan to send two cars to Linjiang University to pick up the people, he wasn’t expecting Xu Lingshan to put on such a grandiose show.
"So you claimed it’s not a rented car? You just revealed the truth unintentionally! Renting these three cars for a single day must cost a fortune, right? Isn’t it tiresome to pretend to be rich when you’re not?"
Duan Feiyu chuckled dismissively along with two of his friends, ridiculing further.
"Su Xiaoxiao, your brother is extremely vain. Earning money is not easy, so why pretend to be something you’re not. It’s so low!"
Duan Feiyu and his friends scoffed unabashedly.
Xu Lingshan opened the car door and stepped out of the Rolls-Royce Ghost; he was personally playing the role of the driver today. Another person got out of the Bentley, it was Xu Lingshan’s driver.
Xu Lingshan hurried over and said respectfully, "Mr. Su, I’m sorry for the delay, there was some traffic."
"It’s fine. But you’ve made such a big deal out of it? Even personally coming over to play driver!" Su Chengyu remarked.
Xu Lingshan quickly explained, "Miss Su’s birthday is a big event! It’s my honour that Mr. Su chose my restaurant for her celebration. I should treat it seriously!"
"Thank you." Su Xiaoxiao thanked Xu Lingshan.
"Brother Su, we are going to Dongling Grand Restaurant, right? He’s the owner of Dongling Grand?" Zhang Xiaomo asked incredulously.
The Dongling Grand Restaurant is a prominent and renowned dining establishment in Linjiang. Just being able to dine there once is worth bragging about. They perceived the owner -- who came personally to pick them up -- as a big shot.
This took everyone by surprise; it was too surreal, like a dream.
"I apologize for forgetting to introduce myself. I am Xu Lingshan, the owner of Dongling Hotel. I look forward to hosting you at my restaurant." Xu Lingshan quickly introduced himself.
Hearing these words, Duan Feiyu and his friends turned pale. They stood there, dumbfounded, their embarrassment akin to swallowing a lump of chicken poop.
Duan Feiyu had dined at Dongling Restaurant and encountered Xu Lingshan at certain occasions, but he hadn’t recognized him right away.
The fact that Xu Lingshan personally came to pick them up, what did it imply?

"Honoured guests, please get into the cars. The banquet is ready." Xu Lingshan announced.
"He’s really the owner of Dongling Restaurant. This is so awesome, I can brag about it for a lifetime, no, for the rest of my life!" Zou Ming exclaimed happily.
This was a huge status symbol, a thing they dared not imagine in their wildest dreams. So, there’s no wonder why he was so excited and incoherent.
"Senior Duan, howcome you’re not saying anything?" Zhang Xiaomo asked with a smirk.
Duan Feiyu wished for a hole to swallow him up; never in his life had he been so embarrassed.
"Mr. ....Mr. Su, I’m...I’m sorry...I..."
Duan Feiyu was terrified, terrified that Su Chengyu might retaliate, as a person of his stature could ruin him in a snap.
However, Su Chengyu couldn’t care less, he didn’t even bother to glance at him. He said to Su Xiaoxiao’s classmates, "You guys go ahead and get into the cars. See you at the restaurant."
"Brother Su, see you at the restaurant!"
Su Xiaoxiao’s friends now admired Su Chengyu to the utmost degree.
Su Chengyu and Su Xiaoxiao got into his car and the three vehicles turned around, leaving Linjiang University. However, news of this incident would soon spread throughout the university.

Duan Feiyu climbed into his own car, his back was cold; he was drenched in sweat. It took a long time for him to ease his fear and panic.
Meanwhile, Xu Lingshan had reserved an upstairs private room at Dongling Grand Restaurant and decorated it beautifully. Balloons were strung all over, transforming it into a mini birthday banquet.
Upon entering, Su Xiaoxiao was pleasantly surprised; her classmates were full of praises, jealous of how she had such a wonderful brother.
