Yan Fei looked around and saw the chamber’s walls were punctured with large holes from the 20 millimeter machine gun, and the ground was a river of blood, strewn with mangled corpses and severed limbs. The once-imposing Assassins were now just lifelessly contorted bodies. In ancient times, their strength would have been formidable, dominating the lands without contest. But in this era dominated by firearms, the age of martial artists had passed. Yan Fei, with just a 20 millimeter caliber Dual Purpose Heavy Machine Gun, managed to kill all these hard-training, strong Warriors, marking the sorrow of martial artists.
Nothing inside the room posed a threat to Yan Fei anymore. He soon finished checking all the corpses in the room. Among the dead, he found the masked militant leader, Ali, who had deceived him into coming here, as well as the Envoy, Salek, who brought him. But the big-bearded man was conspicuously absent. Additionally, Yang Wanlin and his bodyguard had vanished without a trace.
Yan Fei had been firing at full force, causing a lot of noise. His hearing had been somewhat impaired for a short time, so he was unaware if anyone had left the room during that period. Now, with the absence of the three from the corpses, it only meant that they must have fled through the stone door at the entrance.
Intense gunfire had broken out inside the room, and the Black Robe Warriors patrolling outside quickly realized something was wrong. They started to blow their whistles while marshaling their forces, surrounding the room. Just as Yan Fei was about to put on a bulletproof vest from Universal Space and charge out to utterly destroy this city built by the Assassin Sect in the mountains, a “click” sound came from the right. Startled, he swiveled the heavy machine gun in that direction and unleashed a burst of bullets.
