While other Enterprises had intended to take over the land and the Unfinished Building, they had to abandon the idea after site inspections.
The entire building was designed to the highest standards. Despite having only 45 floors, the building was 240 meters tall with a total area of 250,000 square meters. Even if Yan Fei had to construct a new 45-story building from scratch, the cost wouldn’t exceed 1 billion. Hence, when potential buyers learned that the construction cost of this building reached 8 billion, they immediately withdrew their interest.
When Yan Fei and Lu Pingping learned about this building, they initially visited out of curiosity but found that it met their requirements unexpectedly well. Yan Fei became interested and promptly invited architectural experts to inspect the building. The inspection revealed the building materials were indeed of the highest standard and value, though one couldn’t claim the building was the sturdiest in the World, it would withstand earthquakes below 9 on the Richter scale without collapsing. The experts involved in the inspection praised the building’s quality, declaring they had never encountered a more solid construction in their lives. These expert assessments gave Yan Fei immense confidence. If he were to construct such a building himself, it would require at least two years. And considering his demands for quality would be similar, the investment was likely to be on par with this half-finished skyscraper. Seeing this as an opportunity, he became keen on acquiring it.

Yan Fei asked, “Pingping, how much cash does our Company have on hand right now?”
