Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 11

[Moonlight Wolf] [Pawn Class Rank II] [Upgrade Points [0/5]] [Upgrade Limit: Rook Class Rank III] [MP: 200] These were the new stats displayed over the wolf's head, and Jason clicked his tongue when he saw that he would now need five upgrade points for the next upgrade. But when he looked at the wolf and felt the immense new power within it, he felt like it was a fair trade. In the Superhuman world, Magical Beasts were graded based on their strength and the rank of superhumans that would be needed to kill them. From what Jason remembered, the Red Gate Boss was graded as a City Level Disaster Rank because if the Red Gate ever burst, the monster that came out of it would be strong enough to destroy an entire city. To kill the Disaster Level Boss, you would need a guild with at least five C Ranks or one B Rank superhuman in it. The un-upgraded wolves in Jason's legion didn't even register as Disaster class since they were just fodder monsters in a Red Gate. But from the feeling he was getting, Jason predicted that the upgraded wolf was close to being a Disaster Class monster. At the very least, it would take more than two C Ranks to defeat a beast on this level. Jason turned back to his system to look at his stats, and he was surprised when he saw that there were changes there as well. When Jason increased the strength of the wolf, the amount of benefits he got from it also increased. Jason got only five MP when the wolf was a Pawn Rank I, but now that it was a Pawn Rank II, his MP had increased by fifteen. That meant that the wolf had a total of two hundred MP, and it gave him twenty MP from the 10% boost. Mana Points: 92/135 His other stats had also received a boost, and Jason could feel them increasing from the gains. 'I've never heard of a superhuman growing this fast before.' Jason knew that most superhumans grew very slowly because their potential was low. The superhumans who grew the fastest were the Five Kings, but even they were weak once upon a time and after ten years as superhumans, they were categorized as SS Rank Superhumans. At the rate he was going, Jason was sure that he could surpass them before long! It was shocking! Jason looked at the wolves again, and he saw that they were all waiting for his orders. Jason knew what he needed to do at that moment. There was no way he could leave this Gate while the Boss was still alive, and even though it would be dangerous, it was worth the risk if he wanted to survive. A Red Gate normally needed an entire C Rank guild in order to clear it properly, and trying to do it on his own would be seen as madness. But a small part of Jason that he didn't even know existed before now felt excitement filling him as he thought about fighting the boss and taking it as his subordinate. This was a chance for him to grow stronger and gain even more subordinates, and he wasn't the sort of person to waste a chance like this. Jason's intention registered in the minds of the wolves, and they all got to their feet and came forward as their faces hardened into a predatory gaze. Jason turned and glared into the dark forest as he made up his mind. They were going to clear the Red Gate and kill the Gate Boss... ... NECROMANCER SYSTEM Name: Jason Marc Race: Human [10%] ??? He had gotten a general idea of the Gate's layout from his wolves, and now they had all moved into a proper formation with him in the middle, the three un-upgraded wolves forming a semicircle behind him, and the strongest upgraded wolf leading the pack. The similarity between his system and chess wasn't lost on Jason, and from the little chess he had played, he knew that the King was the most important piece and it had to be protected first and foremost. He was applying the same principle to his Legion, and he would keep using this formation until he got strong enough to send the Legion out to fight without worrying about being killed. The layout of the dungeon was simple: The Red Gate had opened on the eastern part of the dungeon, furthest away from where the Boss' territory was. Around the eastern region were four outposts where wolves patrolled. The patrolling wolves moved in groups of four, and they formed a wide semicircle around the Boss' main base. Jason already ran into one of the outposts when he arrived, so there were three others spread out around the Boss' territory. The wolves all had specific howls that they used to communicate with each other so they could keep track of their patrols, and whenever a particular patrolling group didn't report back for a while, then another group of wolves would come around to see what was wrong. As Jason walked, he kept his eye peeled for the wolves that he knew were already on their way, and it wasn't long before he caught sight of four wolves coming in their direction slowly. Jason sent a mental command out to his wolves and the three behind him immediately split away and dashed into the forest. The large upgraded wolf remained beside him with its body lowered in a ready position, and the moment the four wolves were close enough, Jason ordered it to pounce! It was a massacre! The four wolves didn't even know what was coming for them until it was too late, and the larger wolf easily tore through two of them with one swipe! The other two tried to run away once they saw the size of their attacker, but before they could leave, the three smaller wolves appeared from the bushes and attacked them, tearing through them and killing them easily! Jason just watched all this from behind. There was a small smile on his face, and he grinned as his wolves moved away from the dead bodies of their victims. —— [The user has killed [4] Moonlight Wolves] [The user has gained a 40% increase in his stats relative to the stats of the Moonlight Wolf] —— [Far Sight] has evolved into the D Rank skill [Heightened Focus] —— [Heightened Focus: This skill grants the user heightened reflexes, reducing the speed of objects around the user and allowing the user to react faster to them. At its level, the user will view objects at a 20% reduced speed. This skill is evolvable.] [To evolve this skill, the user must gain more [Moonlight Wolf] subordinates.] —— Jason spread his mana towards the four wolves and spoke the keyword: "Resurrect." A pulse of mana surged through the forest as Jason's mana pulled the wolves from their bodies and forced them under his control. The four new wolves granted Jason another massive boost in his stats, and he saw another 120 kill points added to the 20 kill points he already had. His mana shot up by twenty points, and he felt his strength increasing as well.
