"I really want to strangle you right now."
Ivyst's tone had become even colder.
Clearly, she hadn't expected this fellow in front of her to be so bold and reckless.
To dare take her, a being of such noble status, to a commoner's restaurant she wouldn't normally glance at.
"Your Highness, please give it a try," Lynn said as he handed her the spoon. "This is the restaurant I often came to when I was first banished to Orn City."
Even with his taste buds from his previous life, it was quite good.
Saying so, he scooped up a spoonful of stewed meat and put it in his mouth.
"I've never been one to share utensils with others," Ivyst said coldly, looking at him. "Besides, in my view, this stuff is no different from dog food."
Lynn, who had only chewed a couple of bites, choked, and turned to the side to cough.
Seeing his reaction, Ivyst seemed to suddenly think of something, her eyes brightened slightly, her originally indifferent expression softened a bit, and a malice-tinged smile appeared on the corner of her mouth.
When Lynn finally regained his breath and looked back at his plate, he discovered that his spoon had vanished.
As he looked up, he found Ivyst with one hand propping up her chin and the other holding a spoonful of stewed meat dripping with soup, bringing it close to his face.
Her gaze upon Lynn was full of amusement, and who knows what she was thinking.
Combining Ivyst's earlier "dog food" comment about the food, Lynn instantly understood her intention.
His expression immediately darkened.
This was still part of the plan.
He just had to think of her as a proactively feeding, gentle girlfriend.
Imagine a clingy Ivyst leaning against him, calling him "Brother Lynn" pathetically, as she snuggles his arm into the deep valley of her chest...
By the time Lynn snapped out of his wild fantasies, he found himself unwittingly moving closer and had already eaten the food from the spoon.
Ivyst narrowed her eyes and gently stroked his head.
After leaving the dining hall, the sky gradually darkened.
Just a few steps out on the street, Ivyst suddenly stopped: "Hungry, get me something to eat."
No way, girl, are you playing me?
Despite his internal grumblings, he obediently scurried to a nearby bakery and bought a freshly baked butter croissant.
"Your Highness, here."
He handed the paper-wrapped bread to Ivyst.
But the woman did not even deign to take it, merely saying indifferently, "Hold it higher."
So Lynn held the croissant up to her lips.
Ivyst slightly bowed her head, brushing aside the long hair by her ear, and bit off a small piece from the center of the croissant with an icy expression.
For some reason, Lynn felt the scene was incredibly awkward.
After swallowing the bite, Ivyst's eyes swept over him, and she commented expressionlessly.

Lynn shrugged and then prepared to find a place to throw away the remainder.
After all, he'd been force-fed two full plates of stewed meat and two pieces of bread at the restaurant earlier, and now his stomach was about to burst.
Come to think of it, whether it was being fed by Ivyst in the restaurant or feeding her now, these were things that couples would do.
Yet under this woman's absurd maneuvering, the scenario had taken a bizarre turn.
There wasn't a trace of tenderness or romance, only an extremely unpleasant feeling.
Perhaps only she could manage such a feat.
Before Lynn could turn away, Ivyst spoke up again: "What are you going to do?"
"Uh... throw away the trash?"
Lynn raised the paper bag as a gesture.
The temperature around them plummeted instantly.
Ivyst stood still, her expression suddenly turning cold and frightening: "Are you implying...that what the Imperial Princess has eaten is trash?"
