Kims Pov
It's been two days now. Yesterday I was released and allowed to go. Derek brought me home and stayed late into the night. I'm not actually allowed to go back to school today, but I didn't want to stay at home either. I wanted to be with Derek, besides, he wouldn't be worried. Yesterday he was afraid if he left something would happen to me. It took me forever to get him to go home as he also has his pack to look after and badly needs a shower. But he insisted on driving me to school, which I happily accepted.
Now I stood in front of the mirror and took a good look at myself. I was wearing a black skater skirt and a white crop top. My hair was loose and slightly wavy above my shoulders. I had a thick eyeliner line with wing and otherwise a simple make-up. Was I enough for him? Would he like me like that? Or was I too ugly? Would he let himself be shown like this with me?
A knock snapped me out of my thoughts. Derek opened the door and looked at me with wide eyes. He looked mesmerized and didn't move. His eyes scanned my whole body. I blushed and looked at the floor. My laminate was suddenly so interesting. Feet were in my field of vision. Confused, I walked along the feet with my eyes. I looked up and saw Derek. He was still looking at me with his mouth open. I looked away, embarrassed. His hand gently and gently pushed my chin up. I looked him straight in the eye.
"You're so beautiful." he whispered. He leaned down to me. He buried his face in the crook of my neck. I felt him take a deep breath of my scent. I closed my eyes in relish and turned my head to the opposite side for better access. He distributed a few light kisses there. He inhaled my scent deeply again. He straightened up again. His looks made me nervous. They flitted from my eyes to my lips over and over again. I got more nervous and could feel the redness on my face. He smiled and pulled me into a hug.
"I will wait for you." he whispered and kissed me under my ear. He inhaled my scent deeply again. I felt him relax. On the one hand I was glad he hadn't kissed me, but on the other hand I wanted to kiss him too. I wanted his lips on mine because if a single touch can set off thousands of butterflies and tingles for hours, what does a kiss do to me?
"Come on we have to go." he said sadly and reluctantly pulled away from me. I wanted to stay in his arms. It took a few seconds before I could think clearly again. I almost kissed him. fuck Nearly. Had. I. derek kissed Him. Inwardly, I'm doing a thousand somersaults in the air. Again much to me on how much I actually longed for him. I quickly pulled myself out of my thoughts and went to his car. On to the great school and field, welcome sarcasm.
After a few minutes we arrived at the school. Everyone looked at derek's car.
"Ready?" he asked me. I nodded to him. We got out together. Everyone stares at us. They'll probably think I'm with him. Were we together? What were we anyway?
"Everything okay?" Derek's worried voice asked me. He stopped and looked at me worried. Was I so lost in thought? He stood across from me and took my hands in his.
"Yes." I said briefly.
"And now the truth. What's going on?" he asked me again. He looked at me with such concern that my heart melted. I just looked at him dreamily. His distinctive facial features were just perfect and hot. His pink lips that look so soft look like they'll match mine perfectly. His eyes always shine so beautifully at me. His strong arms, just meant to hold me and never let go.
A waving hand in front of my face brought me back to reality. I look at Derek in amazement, but he just smiles at me. I blush slightly and want to say something, but he kept getting closer and closer.
"Don't blush just because you've fallen for me, honey, because it's all yours anyway." he breathes in my ear. His warm breath coming to my ear nearly drove me insane. But only almost. He's still so close to me. His soft lips were inches from mine. His gaze darts from my eyes to my lips and from my lips to my eyes. And again from my eyes to my lips. Over and over again. He looks at me smirking and triumphant. Kim. pull yourself together You can't agree with him now.
I got a little closer to him so that we were only a few millimeters apart. His hot breath hit my lips. Millions of butterflies were in my stomach. My legs got weak and I thought I was going to fall down. I had to resist now.
"And who's fallen for whom now." I said softly and seductively what was not difficult for me. He looked at me hypnotized. Apparently it hasn't quite arrived yet. Grinning triumphantly, I went to Chloé and the others.
"Kim?" shouted Derek after me. Apparently he had recovered himself. I had to grin even wider. I had as great an effect on him as he had on me. I was almost there when Chloé grabbed my wrist and pulled me towards him. He hugged me and put his head in the crook of my neck.
"I know." he said softly. What does he mean? Oh yes. I immediately turned bright red and wanted to sink into the ground.
"Derek. Everyone's staring at us." I said quietly. I was so uncomfortable. They should look elsewhere. Some were already whispering. A few were even cheeky enough to point at us.
"Even better. Now everyone knows you're mine." he whispered and reluctantly pulled away from me. I looked at the floor with my bright red face. A deep little laugh sounded from him. "My little tomato." he said lovingly and gave me a short but loving kiss on the forehead. He said 'my'. I'm melting away inside. He was so perfect.
A clearing of my throat brought me back to reality. I turned around confused. Chloé, Sina, Hunter and Cole beamed at us.
"I knew it." said Sina frantically, but more to herself.
"So both of you. You finally made it." Hunter said, doing that handshake thing with Derek.
"Are you guys together now?" Chloé asked us hastily. There it was again. What were Derek and I anyway? I look up at him, but he also looked at me questioningly. Okay, that means we'll talk later. He was about to say something when the doorbell rang. Sina pulls me with her and chloé rushes after her.
"Well, we're listening." said Sina and walked with us towards the classroom. I looked at her questioningly. "Yes what is between you now." she answered.
"I don't know it." I said honestly and looked desperately at the floor. I felt the questioning looks on me from both of them. "I told him I wanted to try. But that we should take it slow." I added. I didn't mention that Derek had said 'I love you'. I got goosebumps all over my body again.
"Then you have to talk to him. But oh my god. I'm so happy for you. You look so cute together. Like today in the schoolyard, watching him hypnotized after you. Just cute." she raves. I blushed a little, but still had to smile. So he was really looking after me.
