Not long after that, our living room had transformed into a makeshift dressing room. Without any privacy, of course. The girls stripped me down to my underwear. At first, my naked body got them all worked up. Even Fuyu, who was still trying her best not to show too much, considering there were other girls with us, found herself unable to resist my charm. She approached me with the same desire as the other three, as she touched my body, feeling me up as much as she could before shyly asking for another kiss. She then drunkenly stepped away and hid behind Akane.
Ririka and Yae gave her a thumbs up. Despite knowing how the girl felt, they never truly saw her differently. In their eyes, Fuyu is the same as them. Madly in love with me.
As for how Fuyu's view will change after this night, that's still up in the air. For now, there's a task at hand in front of them. To transform me into that butler.
As the room buzzed with sounds of laughter and the rustle of fabric, Ririka was in her element, fussing over every detail of the butler costume like a director staging her masterpiece.
Yae, armed with a small makeup kit, dabbed something on my face, probably just enough to give me that 'ethereal demon glow' as she put it. Although she's also the type to only use minimal makeup, she's expertly applying it to me while enjoying the process, evident by the way her lips curved up in satisfaction.
"Hold still, sweetie. We're making you irresistible. Not that you need much help." Yae murmured, brushing a bit of powder across my cheekbones.
I rolled my eyes but let her work, catching Akane's grin and Fuyu's entranced look from the corner of my vision. They were standing on the corner with their eyes sparkling with the mix of mischief and adoration as they watched my transformation. "Husband, you're already looking too good. I might have to fight Ririka for you tonight."
Too good, huh? I'm still far from the look of that demon butler though.
Ririka huffed as she started helping me put on the inner long-sleeved shirt, her fingers deftly smoothing out the fabric over my shoulders. "Fight me? Akane, you're going to be the lady, remember? Or do you want to be the young master instead? You get to boss him around, but I'm the one who gets to dress him up. Director's privilege!"
Akane stuck out her tongue, but her eyes danced with laughter. "Fine, fine. But I'm still stealing him later. A butler needs her butler's undivided attention."
Ririka and Yae shook their heads at that before muttering, "What a selfish lady."
They then laughed together and whispered to my ear, "We're also expecting you to serve us, Ruki/sweetie."
Fuyu, on the other hand, was clutching a small stack of accessories Ririka had handed her. She chimed in softly, as she reached for the hem of my shirt, "Ruki, I think you'll look really dashing. Like you stepped out of a story." Official source is N0velFire.ɴet
Her cheeks flushed red as she handed me a pair of pristine white gloves and began helping me put them on.
"Thanks, Fuyu," I said as I let her work on it before giving her a wink. "You're gonna have to wear something fancy too, you know. You should join in on the fun. I'm sure Ririka has something prepared."
Her eyes widened, raised her hand and waved it dismissively. But the small smile tugging at her lips told me she was already warming up to the idea. "Nothing too flashy, okay?"
Ririka was the one who answered, "I've got just the thing for you. Something elegant, like a noble lady from a fantasy novel. You'll love it!"
Meanwhile, Yae stepped back, inspecting her handiwork with a satisfied nod. "There. You've got that mysterious, dangerous vibe down. Now, Ririka, let's get that tailcoat and tie on him. We're almost at peak demon butler status."
Ririka took a moment as she inspected me from top to bottom before jumping in delight as she handed me the gray vest, "Put this on, Ruki. And don't you dare slouch. Butlers have perfect posture, you know."
I smirked, slipping into the vest and letting her fuss over the buttons, fixing it perfectly for me.
"Yes, my lady. Anything else I should know about being a demon butler? Should I start practicing my ominous one-liners or just stick to serving tea?"
"Ooh, definitely the one-liners. Say something like, 'I am simply one hell of a butler.' Go on, husband, let's hear it!" Akane suggested.
I cleared my throat, straightening up and adjusting the vest with an exaggerated flourish.
In my best attempt at a smooth, velvety tone, I drawled, "My lady, I am simply… one hell of a butler."
I topped it off with a sly grin and a mock bow, which sent the room into a fit of swooning laughter.
Ririka clapped her hands as her side ponytail bounced wildly. "How is it already so perfect? Oh my gosh, Ruki, you're gonna kill it. Okay, okay, tailcoat next!" She thrust the black tailcoat at me. The sparkle in her eyes looked like she was dressing up her favorite doll.
If Juri were here, she'd probably have already taken a lot of photos. Uh… Maybe I should send her the result later?
I slid into the tailcoat, the fabric surprisingly comfortable despite its formal cut.
Ririka circled me like a hawk, tugging at seams and smoothing out imaginary wrinkles. "This is it. This is the vision. Yae, you're a genius with makeup. Fuyu-san, pass me the tie!"
Fuyu, still holding the accessories, handed over a sleek black tie with a tiny red gem at the knot.
"It's… really nice," She murmured softly as her eyes drank in my appearance.
"Thanks, Fuyu," I said, my voice gentler as I took the tie and started looping it around my neck. "You're gonna have to step up your game to match me, though. Ririka's got plans for you."
Ririka, catching my words, spun around with a mischievous grin. "Oh, don't you worry, Ruki. I've got something for everyone. Fuyu is getting the noble lady look, Akane's our spoiled young lady, and Yae…" She paused, glancing at Yae, who raised an eyebrow.
"So, we're going to be maids, huh?" Yae said, her tone teasing but with a hint of mock dread.
I chuckled as Ririka fixed the tie with a flourish. "I haven't seen you in a maid costume yet, Yae. I'm looking forward to it."
Yae blushed and sweetly smiled, "Well, if you say so then… I'll be a maid for you, sweetie."
"Stop charming her, Ruki, we're done with you yet! Here's the wig and the contact lenses."
Ririka thrust a sleek black wig into my hands. She truly went all in again. "This is the final touch, Ruki! The demon butler's gotta have that perfect, tousled hair. And these contact lenses. Red, to really sell the 'otherworldly' vibe. You're gonna look like you stepped out of the anime itself!"
I eyed the wig skeptically, twirling it between my fingers. "A wig, huh? What's next, are you also going to paint the contract seal on my hand?" I flashed a grin as I lifted my gloved hand.
Ririka's eyes sparkled with that manic creative energy she got whenever she's dealing with cosplay, "Don't tempt me, Ruki! We can do that later if we're going to take a shot with it. But for now, sit down and let me handle the wig. You're not messing this up."
I plopped onto the couch, letting her take charge.
"Husband, you're gonna look so hot I might faint. Hurry up, Ririka, I need to see the full effect!"
"Careful, Akane. If he looks too good, we might all faint. Then who's gonna serve us tea?" Yae winked at me, clearly enjoying the show.
Fuyu, now hovering near Ririka with the contact lenses in a small case, looked a little nervous but curious. "Ruki… have you ever worn contact lenses before? They're not too hard to put in, but… I can help if you need it."
This girl… Mhm… She's so precious, isn't she?
The way her fingers fidgeted with the case showed she was eager to be part of this.
I tilted my head toward her, giving her a reassuring smile. "First time for everything, Fuyu. If I start looking like I'm about to poke my eyeballs, I'll rely on you, alright?"
She nodded with a determined glint in her eyes. "Good, I'll make sure you don't hurt yourself."
And just , we spent another five minutes doing all the finishing touches. Fuyu got a little closer to Ririka as she assisted the girl. On the other hand, Yae and Akane started just enjoying the show from the sidelines as they started a group call with the other girls.
