Yasmin cut the call again after failing to make her parents understand her
She has been on this for hours now and they just can't accept or see any of her words or decision to be with a married or divorcee
"Come home if not we will go to you" her parents words ring in her head
If they really came here then they will definitely cause trouble and add to her distress
The housekeeper bring me a warm drink to coll her nerves seeing how tense she is
President Black has brought her to his vacation house like he promised and unlike her noisy place filled with reporters this is quiet
Except for the security guards who keep stand at the entrance just to ensure her safety.
"You look a bit pale" the lady told her and Yasmin give a false smile before touching her face to see
Not that she does not like the Lady but she's a really busybody and talks a lot
"You should really eat well and stop being on unnecessary diet"
"I'm not on diet" Yasmin try to tell her but she just keep talking on and on giving advise on why it's bad to try starving oneself to loose weight
When Yasmin could no longer take it she excuse herself by standing up and walk into the bedroom locking the door for privacy since the lady could come in without asking permission
The comments and talks online haven't reduced a bit, it keeps growing with many people cussing her out and calling her different names
Her classmates from high school and college have been calling to confirm if the story is true and she has hard time ignoring their calls
All her information being on the internet makes things worst, some anonymous people go over to her parents house and harass them telling them it's their fault for rasing such daughter
Yasmin could not feel at unease anymore seeing how serious it has turn out to be
She know President Black is a popular figure but not to the extent of getting cyber bully by people
The scandalous news about Tony Black that he is alive and has been kept captured by Kyler Black just to own the company has made things rough
Yasmin barely see him at home and by the time he comes back she is already asleep and only know of his arrival when he puts his hands around her waist or cuddle her to sleep
She feel like she might have been cause of all these messes that is happening to him.
If only she hasn't been tricked by Thompson Bays to make Kyler signed the paper or even work for him in the first place,things wouldn't have gone this sour.
Thompson Bays is Kyler's step brother and has been planning his revenge on Kyler for a long time
He just saw her as a pawn and thought she also Desired a revenge on him like he do, that was why he offer her to work for him
With her help, he was able to get closer k Black corporation which gives him an opportunity to mingle and carry out his revenge plan, stealing the company away
Yasmin had asked Talia about what's happening in the company and find out that there would soon be a board meeting to remove the current President and replace him with his step-brother.
"You can't be with that man!"
Yasmin remember her Dad's word and fall on her back to the bed in despair and dilemma state of mind
Staying with him is going to make everyone suffer but leaving too will make herself sad and probably him
"Should I just leave? Maybe it wasn't meant to be?"
Yasmin ask herself he turning uncomfortably on the bed feeling really down.

"I already make full preparation for the next board meeting, I will be getting twenty five percent of what Kyler's shocks"
"Kyler is not the one to give his shares so easily, I'm sure he would fight it"
"Do not worry Mr. Giuliana, I have that under control"
"We have only gotten fifty five percent of the shareholders so far"
"It looks like they don't trust an illegitimate son to run the company" Thompson said feeling upset
"What about the shareholders abroad?"
"Kyler seem to have go ahead us to convince, they seems to trust him so much and won't even tell me anything they discussed"
"I thought he was cowering but turn out he was playing a noiseless game"

"And I hate losing" Thompson reply sharply and give a long exhale.

After announcing to the public about her divorce and reveal Kyler's affair with another woman to the public
Veronica thought that was enough to break them up and force him to come back to her but it failed
She feel more furious when she find out from the lady keeping the vacation house about Kyler bringing another woman there
In fury Veronica make sure to leak out her personal information and pay people to harass her online
It was good trial and reading the comments online she feels happy at least.
When she thought of another plan to make her leave completely, Veronica decided to get her parents involved
What parents would be happy for their daughter to be involve in such immoral relationship with a man
She just have to make people harass them everyday, their workplace too
She has pulled few strings and cost the supposed promotion the Dad ought to get, after all she is still a Giuliana
Since the wife is an housewife, Veronica had nothing much to do to her but make the news spread so well that she wont find it easy to walk on the street.
After pulling all these schemes, Veronica decide to wait few days to see what Kyler would do
Black corporation is in trouble too, if he would get back with her now then he would patch his broken relationship with Giuliana's family and get their help
People would forgive him for his affair and support them like before, she has made plans for that
But waiting feels so long for Veronica she sti has not hear anything from him
She know how much pride Kyler has but she didn't think he would still keep to his pride even as the verge of losing his company.
When she has things to her favor, Veronica has decided to return to her parents house and got a cold welcome and more colder one from her mother
She was definitely against her divorcing Kyler and pressurize her everyday to find a way to go back to him
Veronica also understand her pain and demand, since the day she got back her Dad has been treating her like she is invisible
The two illegitimates have been making trouble with her and her mum too, driving Veronica really crazy
The only escape for her and her mother now is Kyler's, which make her come to a drastic decision.
"Mrs. Lander, I need a favor from you" she said to the phone
"There is something I need to get from the vacation house, it's important to me"
"Help me get into the house" she pleaded and smile seconds later before ending the phone.

"He is working with Thompson Bays and has turn fifty five percent of the shareholders to their side"
"That's the disadvantage of letting families get involve in businesses" Kyler said looking indifferent
"It will be an advantage for us to have him on our side"
"Then let's blackmail him!"
"Another interesting thing about family is that you know each other's secret" he resorted and smirk
"Don't you think you look too calm for someone about to lose his position and company?"
"I know" he replied with the same expression and Alex sighs resignedly
"You're really are frustrating"
"Have you find out where he is keeping Chairman Black?" He asked diverting their discussion
"No, he's really hiding him well what if he want to use him as a threat again?"
"That's not my worry, he must have find out his illness by now"
"So you're worried he would reveal it" Alex completed nodding his head in understanding
"Chairman Black cares about his pride"
"So do you President Black" Alex resort
"I will go prepare what is needed to the meeting sir" he said walking out of the office.

Veronica read the text with a happy nod, now all she have to do is make herself look a bit like the housekeeper to enter into the house.
When Veronica was done with the little dressing, she drive to the vacation house after telling her mum she would be in her room sleeping
It's past eight now which mean she has enough time to carry out her plan
She take a look at the knife on the front seat and turn back to the road speeding over to the vacation house
"I forgot something, I will pick it and be out soon" she told the security who had stopped her as she walk past the door
It was a good thing the security believe she is the housekeeper and let her in
Now she has a good scapegoat to get blame for the crime she is about to commit.
Veronica find the key where it has been kept and get into the house
For one thing she was sure Kyler doesn't keep CCTV cameras in the house so she remove her disguise and go ahead to find her
The bedroom is the first place she thought of and she was right there, on the bed lying and sleeping peacefully
For days she has not been able to have a good sleep and spend all day feeling worried and anxious but the one who cause her problem is having one
The anger in Veronica rise and she unsheathe the knife charging furiously and blindly at her.

After another drama from her mum to come back home and leave the divorcee alone, Yasmin has decided to go to bed early feeling a bit tired than before
The housekeeper lady seems to be right about her face being pale but maybe it was because of worries and stress
She has not fallen totally asleep when she hear the door open and open her sleepy eyes slightly
It was just half pass nine and he has return from work, Yasmin isn't expecting him until past midnight or more
She want to get up bd go greet him with a hug but her body feel so weak and numb to stand up
Yasmin decide to wait for him to change and come to her instead but she hear a different sound and try opening her eyes
She wait not sure what is going on and listen carefully to the footsteps approaching her
Just as she feel it is so close, Yasmin summon up all her strength and roll down the bed hitting her side on the floor
"Mr. Bays?' She thought and turn her head to see but is blown with shock when she sees her instead
"How dare you steal Kyler from me and still have a peaceful sleep!"
Yasmin try to stand up from the floor and escape as she charge at her again and the knife landed on the floor beside her as she failed to stand but manage to roll away instead.

Veronica's eyes shoot out angrily when she didn't succeed at the second attempt ad give a loud crazy yell
She try again but got pull down by her, she try to stab her again on the floor.
Yasmin manage to grab her hand as the knife points to her eye and struggle hard with her to move it away
The look on her eyes scares her as she pushes more in at her aiming for her heart instead
In the long struggle, Yasmin feel a sudden pang of pain in her stomach which make her lose focus for a second
In that moment, Veronica seize the opportunity to push the down knife into her body and watch her give a long piercing painful scream.
Seeing blood rush to her body and cover her cloth, Veronica cowers and get off her body leaving the knife inside her
She rush out of the room and out to her car managing to get past the security guards who tried stopping her
Veronica succeeded in getting into her car and drive fast away breathing heavily as she escape.
