Adam stood outside the Mercenary Hall for a few seconds before he and everyone else around heard a loud whistling noise from above causing everyone to look up.
What they saw was a large metallic looking container hurtling towards the ground just before it impacted the road in-front of the Mercenary Hall with a loud BOOM causing dust and rubble to fly all around, pedestrians yelled in panic as they backed away and vehicles traveling the road braked hard to quickly stop.
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?" Frank shouted from inside the Mercenary Hall before he opened the door and along with many other mercs stepped out onto the street to see what caused the noise.
"What's with all the dust? Can't see shit."
"Did someone try to bomb the Mercenary Hall?"
"No way, there wasn't an explosion, just a loud noise that made the ground shake a bit and now this dust in the air."
As they all discussed what caused the common, the dust began to clear and they saw that there was now a small shallow crater in the middle of the road and within the crater lay a large tube shaped metallic container.

[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): No they don't.]
[Netononato (Earth): What's with the big metallic looking container about?]
[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): It kind of looks like an ordinance drop pod.]
[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): You mean those pods that they use to drop weapons and supplies from space to soldiers on a planet?]
[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): Yeah.]
"What the fuck is that?" Frank asked.
"Some sort of ordnance drop pod?" One of the other Mercs replied.
"Who the fuck is dropping ordnance in the middle of the city?"
As the chat and mercs conversed about what just dropped before them they suddenly saw Adam approaching the item in question.
"Watch out rookie, you don't know where that came from and it could be dangerous."
"Yeah I heard some militaries rig there drop pods so that if the enemy tries to open it, it explodes."
[Gunlovergirl (Earth): Damn is what those mercs said for real?]
[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): Yeah it's a common tactic since they would rather sacrifice the supplies than let the enemy get hold of them.]

Adam ignored the mercs and as he dropped lightly into the shallow crater the container began to open with a hissing noise as steam escaped.
"Oh shit its opening, watch out."
"At least it didn't explode."
Everyone watched as the sides of the container folded away to reveal a sleek black vehicle that hovered just above the ground.
[Vinnaka (Felinia 6): Oh damn, is that a hoverbike?]
[SciFifanboy (Earth): Hoverbike! That's so SciFi]
[Sparesomechangebro (Earth): First a spaceship and now a motorbike that floats, seriously streamer how can't you afford to give your bro some change.]
[StealthAssassin9 (Earth): How is that thing even hovering or floating or whatever?]
[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): While it looks like it's hovering above the ground, in actuality it's using repulsion tech to force it away from the ground.]
[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): Bah who wants something called a Repulsionbike? Hoverbike is way cooler sounding.]
The hoverbike was mostly black with a few grey areas while like Spector it also had occasional blue edging. It looked very similar to a motorbike back on Earth except that instead of wheels it had four circular sections pointing diagonally down towards the ground, one on either side of where the wheels would be. While at the rear it had a mini wing on each side that slanted down and backwards to offer better stability and make it more aerodynamic.
Adam swung his leg over the seat and as he sat in place the hoverbike's lights and digital display activated before it rose slightly higher off the ground.
Adam twisted the accelerator and the bike shot off into the distance as the mercs and other nearby people watched in shock.
[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): Can't believe the streamer has a hoverbike, that's some seriously modern tech.]
[Devil_Prince_Asura (Deverinian 9): Right, it's only been about a year since Corridor Corp released the very first one. Several other companies have produced their own since then by reverse engineering the Corridor Corp's, however I have never seen one .]
[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): It must be a new model, though I have no idea who the manufacturer is.]
[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): It's certainly more sleek than the one Corridor Corp released.]

[Beczontop (Imperial Down): Stream where did you get your hoverbike from? I want to buy one as it's way better looking than any of the others on the market.]
[Vinnaka (Felinia 6): I just did a reverse search on the subnet for the hoverbike but did not get any matches.]

Adam rode Spector Unit 1 or as the chat called it 'The Hoverbike' through the city streets at breakneck speed as he followed the directions on his minimap that Spector had uploaded as the quickest route back to the spaceport where Spector was ready to launch.
Palaxia citizens stopped and turned to stare as Adam streaked past them at terrific speeds while occasionally security personnel tried to chase after him with their lights and sirens wailing but were soon outpaced and lost him as Adam took turns sharply and quickly.
[StealthAssassin9 (Earth): Why the heck didn't he use this when he was chasing that car in the first stream?]
[Gunlovergirl (Earth): Idiot, he already caused so much commotion from vaporizing a car, what do you think would happen if you added a hoverbike into that situation.]
[Devil_Prince_Asura (Deverinian 9): Talk about speed though, the streamer should totally sign up for Riot Racing if he ever visits a planet that does it.]
[Superior4horns (Vinox 3): Are you nuts? No one rides a hoverbike in Riot Racing, they are all modified speeder pods that have shields and weapons.]

[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): It's a dangerous and yet entertaining racing sport. Racers pilot modified speeder pods around a race track filled with traps. Their pods are equipped with weapons and shields they can use to try to eliminate their opponents and be the first across the line after a designated number of laps.]
[Superhearofangirl (Earth): Can't people die from that?]
[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): Oh all the time, and not just the participants but the spectators too. There was this one time where a speeder pod had one of its engines shot off causing it to spin around like a top while its momentum carried it forward as its mini neutron cannons randomly fired all over the place. So many spectators and pit crews died because of that.]
[Justiceistruth: (Earth): And they still allow it as a sport?]
[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): Oh yeah, viewers and fans skyrocketed after that event.]
[Gunlovergirl (Earth): I love it.]

The chat watched as Adam finally approached the space dock and saw ahead a security checkpoint that any vehicles had to pass through if they wished to enter.
Instead of slowing down and waiting for inspection by the security personnel however, the chat saw that the hoverbike started to speed up as it flew closer and closer to the checkpoint.
[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): Errr hey streamer it's time to slow down don't you think.]
[1000yearsofdeath (Earth): Maybe his breaks have gone. Kekeke.]
Soon the security guards noticed him quickly approaching with no intention to slow down and they started to shout at each other before they raised their weapons towards Adam.
Adam ignored them and focused on his target and just as they were about to fire Adam pressed a button on the hover bikes handlebars that caused four small compartment to open on the underside of the hoverbike as four mini circular repulsers appeared that where angled diagonally downwards and backwards before they shot out a powerful blast of repulser energy that made the bike fly into the air before they retracted back and the compartments closed.
The chat, guards and drivers of other vehicles waiting to enter the spaceport watched in shock as Adam's hover bike flew through the air and over the checkpoint before coming back down to the ground where he continued to fly towards where Spector was docked.
