Due to the annual school program, Cultural heritage , class were no longer intense as it use to be.
The usual class hours were replaced with the rehearsal time which came in content such as dance, recitals and drama.
Aimscious was part of dance group with Mart, Pat and Harry as members while Lilia formed part of the drama group. Lilia on the other hand, kept watch over Aims' every step with so much hate and evil as she took her dance steps over and over with Mart as a partner. She instinctively scoffed with a creased brow, her chest burning with rage.
" I'll so deal with you Aims– you're playing with fire this time around, dear" She mumbled with a glare and briskly stormed out. Just then, she noticed Vicky and her friends ; who were tagged as the bullies of the school.
Her lips instinctively curved in a half smile, a sinister look over ruled her figures as she approached them.
"Hey, girls" She smiled, drawing their attention. They threw a skeptical gaze at her. " Um, i just need a little help from you guys– want you to deal with Aimscious for me." She stated and they glanced at each other and back at her with disbelief. They knew how close they were together so hearing that from her felt like hearing a monkey speak for the first time
" Disfigure her ... Turn that her pretty face like a mermaid into a monster. I promise to pursue my dad to employ you parents in his company" She offered, determined to persuade them which finally worked out. They spontaneously offered their full attention after the hint of her enticing offer.
Lilia smirked, her lips curved in a half smile, noticing the looks on their faces. She went on.
"Let's see how she comes back to take what's mine" With a roguish glare, she pulled out something from her pocket– It's a very small bottle with a colourless content like water.
" Take this" She stretched it out to them and Vicky took it. " It's acid– you have to be careful with that and make sure you are not seen. I want you guys to pour it on her , especially her face. Make sure you're not caught and leave no traces . I want a clean job. "
Vicky smiled to which she instinctively hid away the substance. " Don't worry girl, count it done and neat.
But don't forget your promise or you live to regret it." She threatened. Lilia smiled, following her words.
" You don't have any problem with that girls, just get it done for me–I want it to be an unexpected incident.
Cultural heritage day is the best day for this–
I've got to go now, don't want any suspicions. bye."
Not waiting for anymore seconds, she dashed out like lighting.
REHEARSAL HALL
Lilia finally joined her group after her plot. Soon, rehearsals successfully came to an end. The teacher clapped her hand as a sign of calling it a day.
" Well done everyone" She stated as they all gathered around her. "Today marks the end of our rehearsals and next Friday is the d' day of the school's annual program , " Cultural heritage " . Don't forget to remind your parents and guardians. You may disperse now"
They announced and they all chorused their responses to which they went off their way in pairs and groups as they exit the hall.
Mart and Aimscious were the only people left after the disperse. They settled on a bench at the corner of the reversal hall ,chatting and laughing heartedly.
Lilia, who was watching them at a far distant, cursed her in her heart. Her wrath verbalised.
"That's the last time you'll ever laugh again in your life, Aims." An evil smile deployed on her face.
After some time, she sauntered over to them and placed her hands over Aimscious' eyes. She flinched, a sharp scream escaped her lips which made Mart deftly turned to the intruder. On noticing her, he smiled.
"Oh, is you..." He mumbled and She chuckled, releasing her hands off her eyes as she took her stand in front of them.
" Gosh, Li, you startled me " She finally cried on seeing her. She rose to her feet and hugged to which Lilia hugged her back.
"I miss you bestie." She said and waved at Mart.
" What do you say?–Let's get you guys a drink before we depart home, my treat" She instinctively offered and they all chuckled.
"Sure, shall we?" Aimscious exuded and Mart nodded his approval to which they both rose to their feet.
"Alright– Let's get going, it's already getting late." Lilia mumbled as Aims and Mart picked up their bags. They left the hall with loud chats and chuckles.
SIMON'S MANSION
Simon shuffled furiously with a burning rage as he paced to and fro in the hall. His breath was harsh as he angrily thumped over the things on the table to the floor, breaking them.
"How dare that wretched man, try to rub shoulders with me over that land " He barked. His face flashed with wolfish gaze. He spontaneously slammed his fist on the table to which his hand started bleeding.
"You've bitten more than you can chew, Nelson– It's time to dance to the tune of you're playing." A sinister smile dazzled at the ends of his lips.
