He shook his head, "I don't understand this.... She wasn't the only one that got shot...? She was kidnapped alongside someone else....?"
Renard nodded, "that is what our findings prove sire, we just don't know who the other person is."
His mind suddenly went back to something he was thinking of before the beta returned, "She... She mentioned going out with someone.... Yes. A servant that had promised to bring take her out and brring her back here, that servant must have been the second victim...." He got up from his chair, "Renard!"
"Yes sire?"
"Tell madame Jane I summon her. I must know who this servant is immediately...!"
"Yes sire."
Madame Jane was called in shortly after, bowing her head in greeting to the alpha before he addressed her.
"Madame Jane."
"Yes sire."
"You are aware of the missing Luna right?"
"Yes sire.....in fact, ny heart has been so distraught about the news since I heard it this morning. I can only pray that she comes back...."
He cut off her statement... "Gather all the servants. Perform a head count. From the beta's investigation, it seems that the queen was kidnapped alongside one of your servants. I must know who this person is, perhaps it will lead us to a clue on how we can find them."
"Oh... I pray that it does sire..."
"That is all. You may go, and I want you to get started on it immediately. Report to me as soon as you can."
"Yes sire," she bowed one more time before hurrying out to carry on with the Alpha's instructions, her heart full of such worry and sadness.
Miranda is missing... This not only sounds so absurd, but also careless on the part of those who were meant to protect her. The silver pack hasn't had such a good queen in years, now the goddess blesses them with one and now, she gets lost barely weeks after her marriage to the alpha.
Oh... How she hopes that nothing bad has happened to Miranda....!! How she hopes that Miranda comes back unharmed! She hopes, because she knows that alpha Damian will do all he can to find her, she only hopes it will be enough. But for now, she too must play her part, she thought as she began calling all the servants.

After more than an hour, madame Jane returned to the Alpha's room to inform him of the results of the thorough head count she did of all pack house servants, from the cleaners, to those in the kitchen, those tending to the rooms, the garden, the pool, and other utilities. He welcomed her in as she greeted.
"Yes madame Jane. Let me hear you."
"I counted all the servants just as you requested sire."
"And?"
"None of them are missing sire."

Silence... the silence dragged as if he was pondering on her words, over and over again in his head. It took a while for him to finally say something.
"Are you sure about this, madame Jane?"
"Absolutely sure sire. The servants know each other very well, and if any of them went missing, I would have been the first person to have been alerted about it."
He nodded, "thank you, madame Jane. You may go now."
Two darts were found. Two people were kidnapped, but only one person ends up missing. This does not add up at all. Either the second person is still here, or the second person isn't a pack house servant, but either way, he must get to the bottom of this!
"Guards!!!"
"Yes sire."
Summon the population minister. There's going to be an emergency census. Let him begin to draft reports on the all the numbers. The rest of who aren't helping him out should search the entire terrain, find out if there's been any missing persons lately.
"Yes sire."
"Get to work immediately."
As the guards left, with everyone running around, playing their own parts to find the queen, Damian was still not at ease. He knows that it's a fool's errand to keep searching within the terrain when her kidnappers might probably have taken her so far away from here. He needs to go out to look for her, and his mind has already told him where he ought to start looking.

The bitch is missing. Finally, the bitch has disappeared!
After all that's happened to her, Katrina couldn't have received a more heartwarming news. When she first heard, she almost didn't want to believe it first, but now that she's confirmed it, her heart could do nothing but rejoice!
She does hope that the kidnapper should take Miranda as far away from here as possible. It would even be better if she got killed, that way, she wouldn't have to bother to plan any evil for Miranda later, as the bitch would be no more.
She figured that now that Miranda is gone, Damian would be sad. He would be upset, he would need someone by his side to rub his shoulders, to massage his back, to comfort him, to embrace him, and who better to do it than her?
For days, she hadn't left her room, enjoying the luxury of the many servants Damian placed to tend to her every need. But for this very fortunate occurrence that may seem unfortunate for some, this is so worth getting out of bed for.
She opened her drawers, searching for the sexiest lingerie she could find, and then placed it on her bed before heading to the vanity table for some light make up. A few minutes later, she was all done, her sexy lingeried body enclosed in her night robe, her hair packed to the side in a way that brought out her gorgeous face. There's no way in hell she would make it easy for Damian to resist her tonight.
She left her room and headed to his, swaying her hips while her heart embraced the thoughts of being the one in Damian's bed for the next couple of nights, just the way it was always meant to be.
