Master Damien kept staring at the closed door from which the girl ran out.
He was still surprised at her boldness and wonder if she wasn't the same Galene who always cry out her eyes whenever he touches her.
"What came over her all of a sudden that made her talk back at me," he thought pouring a bottle of wine in his royal cup and sipping it.
She is becoming fearless and that only made him more attracted to her, it wasn't just because she was beautiful but ever since he set his eyes on her, he had been wanting her around him because she brings some sort of strange feeling of peace and tranquility to him whenever she's around him so he would let her go without punishment for insulting him.
His door opened and Robin, his head guard came in. "Master you sent for me" he bowed.
"Get me one of my slaves" he muttered and Robin bowed. "Your favorite right?" He asked referring to Galene.
"And what do you mean by my favorite, did I ever tell you I had a favorite slave?" Master Damien asked corking his brows.
"I thought the new slave was your favorite because ever since she came, she has been the only one warming your bed," Robin said with a little smile.
"Is that so? Had she been the only one warming my bed?" Master Damien asked pretending to be confused.
"Yes Master, I even thought you had forgotten about others, it seems you have some special likeness for her," Robin said smiling widely, his master sure has a great taste as he would also forget others if a girl as beautiful as Galene come into his life.
"Well then get me another" Master Damien concluded waving off his hands to indicate he was done talking.
Robin bowed and left his chambers then headed to get a bed warmer for his Master.

A knock sounded in Galene's room making the girls wonder if what Galene said was actually the truth.
Perhaps they had come to pick her up for the punishments of rejecting the Master.
"I pity her, she's so beautiful to be going through all this," Lydia said and Mariam sighed and glanced at Galene who was sleeping peacefully.
"Go check who's on the door while I wake her up," she said heading towards Galene's bed while Lydia went to get the door.
"Wake up Galene, I think the guards are here for you," she said tapping the sleeping girl continuously until she stirred, waking up.
"What are you talking about? Why would they come for me?" She asked looking confused as she rubs on her eyes.
"Did you not tell us you refused the master and he sent you out? They are here to bundle you to the torture room" Mariam said pointing at the door where Lydia was talking with whoever it was that was knocking.
Tears gathered in Galene's eyes as she remembered what happened earlier in the hallway when she insulted the master and how she rejected him.
She sniffed trying to be strong and hold it back in, she wouldn't let them see her tears as she promised herself to remain strong and not let them see a drop of her tears.
If they want to kill her because she disobeyed the master then they should go on, after all her father sold her to be used anyhow they want.
She gathered her scattered hair and packed it in a messy bun while waiting for Lydia who was already coming back in.
"Who was that, the guards right?" Mariam asked and Lydia smiled staring at the scared Galene whose heart was pounding furiously.
"Yes, it was Robin but he wasn't here for Galene but me," she said making Galene breathe out loudly.
"So what does he want if it wasn't her?" Mariam asked not getting why Robin would come to their room for something else rather than Galene because ever since Galene arrived, she had been the only one constantly warming the master's bed and the only person being sought for whenever the guards appear on their doorstep.
"He said the master wants some other slave to warm his bed and I'm going" Lydia smiled rushing to her side of the room to dress up.
"Why is she excited to warm that beast's bed? Doesn't she know how brutal he could be?" Galene asked no one in particular.
"Well, you are probably too boring to not notice how heavenly the master makes one feel" Lydia snapped throwing a glare at her while walking out of the room in a skimpy robe that showed off too much of her body.
"What is wrong with her? I only asked a simple question which doesn't require a harsh reply" Galene mumbled and walked back to continue her sleep.
She had been getting very weak and wearily and she now sleeps a lot.
"Are you okay Galene, Why are you walking as though you would slump anytime soon?" Mariam asked staring at her.
"I don't know, I feel weak a lot, I think it's as a result of the torture I underwent days back" she muttered and Mariam nodded.
"Sorry about that, I would go get you some herbs so you could take it and retain your strength," Mariam said.
"Thank you, Mariam, where's Luciana, I haven't seen her since I woke up," she asked staring at Luciana's bedside.
"I do not know where she has gone to but I think she might be in the garden or somewhere around the castle" Mariam replied and Galene nodded.
Luciana wasn't someone who associates with people, she's also on her own and speaks so bluntly that you would think she hated you but that was just how she was.
"I would go get the herbs" Mariam muttered and walked out of the room.
Lydia followed behind Robin as they both walked to the master's chamber with Lydia smiling from ear to ear and waving at everyone they met on the way.
They got to the chamber and she was ordered to stay back while Robin went in to announce her arrival.
