Having just carefully emerged from the surrounded shed constructed with standard containers like a "maze," Chen Fei was suddenly met with a barrage of shots in the dark, likely from both friend and foe; after all, who else would foolishly march into everyone's line of sight in such darkness if not a total fool, and who would they shoot if not him?

Seeing Chen Fei pursued by a hail of bullets, Barut quickly dodged further away, afraid of becoming collateral damage.
He didn't have the young man's invincibility to bullets; getting shot would still end him.

Chen Fei pulled out the "Blood Spike" from an attacker's neck, saw that the man was still barely alive, and quickly stabbed again, directly into the brain, causing the opponent to shudder and die on the spot.

He really couldn't afford to stay down any longer as the flames continued to burn.

In the darkness, someone shouted in alarm.
Almost simultaneously, another yelled, "Damn, a mage!"
Both adversaries believed they had uncovered yet another card in each other's hands.
"Chen Fei, don't run around, come over here!"
A gust of wind swept through, carrying the relentless flames into the sky, as bright as a flare.
The sounds of rapid gunfire resumed, accompanied by exchanges of rockets and grenades, shaking the ground violently.
Chen Fei heard someone calling him and immediately recognized it was Manager Hanna's voice.
He was about to run to her when he heard Old Master Barut calling him too.
Which side should he choose?
Faced with indecision, he was struck by two stray bullets, his head nearly splitting open. Ultimately, Chen Fei chose to follow the old man from the Neanderthal tribe.
Manager Hanna Gagel, commanding the counterattack, waited in vain and stomped her feet in frustration.
The attackers were unexpectedly well-equipped, not only with elite warriors possessing optical invisibility equipment but also supernatural power users and mages.
In the entire Aircrew Base, the only specialized combat personnel were Hanna Gagel, a C-level Wind-type Ability User, and the newly minted Metal Ability User Chen Fei, who yet had no clue about combat skills.
The latter's ineptitude was so frustrating that it exasperated both friends and foes; standing blatantly exposed made him a living target, a mockery of everyone's intelligence. Did he learn nothing in college?
Perhaps another from the Third Era Civilization, a Neanderthal tribe warrior, could be considered a bit of high-level combat strength, but Hanna Gagel had no expectations there.
With his feeble and elderly demeanor, it was good enough that the old man didn't fall back; he might as well stay wherever it was safe and save the company some condolence money.

This required them to make a split-second decision to abandon the secondary command bunker underground air-raid facility, guarding hangars 1 and 2 while concentrating their forces to confront the attackers.
