(Frederik's POV)
"Hey!" I immediately greet my friends. I gathered all of them, all my friends who know what really happened when I got married, 8 years ago.
"What's up, bro?" Art greeted me, my lawyer friend who owns the bar where we are now.
I sat down, fortunately we were on the 2nd floor which is quite a few people, because it is a private area, that only the well-known and rich can reserve here. We’ve got the best spot here because we can really see everyone on the first floor where there are many dancing on the dance floor and those who drink or chill at the bar counter or at the tables located there, and we can also see the ones who go inside the entrance.
I looked at them; there are four of us here now. But actually there are really five of us in the group.
Atty. Arthuro Dela Vega, has his own law firm and is an award-winning lawyer of famous and wealthy personalities and clans and an owner of famous bars in the Philippines.
Congressman David Falcon, CEO of a large Telecommunication here in the country, and a good politician.
Franco Ocampo, CEO of a big TV and Radio Network, he also helped me to get rid of the spreading of Leysa and I scandal, 6 years ago.
And who was not here is Ar. Edward Custodio, my best friend and a well-known, highest paid and talented architect that based in Spain. And also Leysa's friend, because when I tried to find that woman before, I found out that she was with Edward, and so I stopped following her - at least I felt a little relieved because someone was supporting Leysa which almost everyone turned their backs on, and so did I. So I let them go, I’m just not sure if they had more of a friendship relationship. Psh!
"Hey Fred, does your spouse know that you are here. Damn man! I don’t want her come again here to look for you, and I just can’t deal with her," Franco said while laughing, tsk. By the way, at that time that I became a bar person when Leysa left. Diana is always looking for me in my friends, that she will almost threaten them.
"Damn, she will surely not look for me now. She was on a three-day conference out of town," I said in response. So now is also the right time for me to meet my friends because Diana has left and our son is in the Franks’ care temporarily.
"That's good. Oh well, why do you want to see us, brad? Is there a problem?" David asked, so I gave them a serious look.
"I need to fix my real status..." I suddenly replied. Yes, I want to make it right. I just woke up earlier and my decision was complete, I will fix it all –the wrong thing I did, 8 years ago.
"Why? Are you ready to legally applied your marriage with Diana? The marriage certificate is still here. Tell me what to do then." Art smiled.
And yes, I almost forgot about my void marriage with Diana. Void, as in invalid, unlawful marriage, does not really exist legally. In other words, Diana and I are not really married, and she doesn't know it. Now you all know how jerk I was to be able to fool Diana. But damn, I have no choice, Grandpa is already harassing me, if I want his company, I need a marriage contract and a child. But I didn't understand that before, he did it because he was planning to marry me with someone else but shit, I didn't imagine that Leysa was the woman I was destined to marry that time though. But no, a lot has already happened, so I have to fix it.
"No. I'll fix that in a right way, as in I want Diana to know that we are not really married, that she doesn’t own me since the very beginning," I replied that made the three of them sighed.
"Jerk dude, how is your child? You are also stupid, why did you get her pregnant right away. When you have a plan like this, I mean you have a plan not to legalize your marriage and leave her," David suddenly shook his head.
I also thought that it would affect Daniel but my decision is already fixed, I will not leave the child, he can still have my name because he is my son.
"I will not leave Daniel alone; he is still my son..." I just said with finality.
"Is she finally back?" out of nowhere Franco asked and because of what he said the two also looked at me.
"Who? Leysa Frank? That's why, Fred! All right then. What's the plan? Just fix the plans! Diana is a psychotic freak. Damn it! She's a bad news, dude, I remember how she bit my ear last time. She’s just thankful that she is your wife, because if not I will surely accused her." Art made a long statement so we just laughed. But the truth is, you have a hard time dealing with Diana.
I can't just plan to say, "Hey babe, we're not really married. Our wedding is not registered, let's break up."
Especially, that she loves me so much, she’s actually obsessed with me. And I know she will fight for our child’s rights to have a complete family. That’s why she will not let go of me that easily.
"Actually, I have no plans yet. I don't know what to do with her. I am sure, she will be hysterical about the real deal of our void marriage. The only important thing right now is that we are not really married and yes, Leysa is back. Damn, but as Leysa Guevara --CEO of GUEST.," My long litany that surprised them. Who doesn't? Guevara Clan was one of the famous and well-known families around the Globe, especially in England where the main branch of Guevara Estate, the biggest known Real Estate company located.
"SERIOUSLY? How come? How did it happen? She is really something, Fred. So what are your plans now that she is back?" Franco's shocked statement that I just nodded too.
"I still don't know how come she’s a Guevara. But soon I will surely know it and no, I have no plans yet. I don't even know if she has her own family now or none." Art punched me in the shoulder.
"You are really stupid, Fred. What your money and connections do... you do not know then go and find it out. But wait! Are you sure you will declare your void marriage with Diana? How is your company? It is stated in the conditions of your Grandfather as long as he lives, No marriage contract and a child. No position for you in his company" Oh shit! But I just cant back out now, my decision is final, I'll give up everything to fix everything - for her and for my real happiness.
"That’s it, I'll just apply as a secretary at your Law firm, or maybe at David's company, or I can just be an actor at Franco's TV station. Damn! It's now or never," I just said that made them laughed.
"If it was then, brad. That's how you think. I bet you should be happy by now and there are no complications at all. You are so greedy and impatient to get your Grandfather's company. You're too scared, which in fact it will still goes to you because you are his only grandchild." There is a litany of David.
“I am just pressured that time; he was harassing me with his conditions. That’s why I have no enough time to think things over. And also Dad was pressuring me because he was so afraid that the management of WilCo would just end up in another hand. I was under a lot of pressure, so it leaves me no choice that time. But it’s okay, I have no regrets at all. I can do now is fix everything and get her back, " I stated that they just nodded in response.
We were just drinking quietly when Franco suddenly spoke looking at the first floor of the bar.
"Speaking of Leysa Frank. I mean Guevara, whatever. She’s there oh." I looked at what Franco pointed out. Damn. Yes, it was really her and she's wearing a super fit backless red party dress, very fit to her body so its perfect curve is well-shaped and visible to every man’s lustful stares at her. And, I was suddenly furious just thinking how those maniacs and jerks think while looking at her, ‘cause she's now the center of attraction on the dance floor. She is dancing in the rhythm of the sexy song played by the DJ, gracefully.
I have no plans to go at her direction, but damn! Many good for nothing jerks are trying to get a hold with her. So I stood up and I quickly approached where she was. And I carried her like I am just carrying a sack of rice but I made sure she could not be seen by jerks out there.
Without a moment of hesitations, I left Art's bar. They are watching from the 2nd floor so they already know that I have to teach this woman a great lesson she would never forget.
"Hey! Lemme go, you dumbass! Who are you to do this to me. Fuck you!" She exploded as I carried her to the parking lot.
"Yeah, your wish is my command. I will fuck you... hard, baby..." I said when I put her in the passenger's seat of my car and it calmed down when she realized who I was.
"Frederik," she only said as I quickly entered the driver's seat.
She is now staring at me like she is under a spell. She’s already tipsy, that was obvious in her puffy eyes that was just looking at me. And before I could start the car she reached for my face and she is slowly massaging it. Damn!
"Oh yeah... the famous Frederik Wilford," she softly said my name and it feels like a lullaby to my ear... her voice, her sweet soft voice that only says my name --what a dream, I don't want to wake up to this beautiful dream I have. I was closing my eyes when I slowly felt her hand on my cheek so I just woke up.
And when I woke up, I saw her eyes were closed, she was already asleep. Maybe she drank a lot, knowing that she even attended our meeting earlier. She is really tired, it can be seen on her face but the natural beauty she has is also visible on her sleeping face.
She is an epitome of beauty. No doubt.
