I called Zed after I took Ara home. He didn't pick up for some time, so I decided to put my phone down and take a quick shower first. Just as I stepped out of the bathroom, Zed's call went through.
"Sorry, dear. I forgot to turn my speaker on. My teams are so hyped up that I ride along with their momentum."
"It's alright, but why didn't you tell me that you have joined a company?"
"I would have wanted to surprise you, but I changed my mind when you had Ara in your mind. Anyway, I could still surprise you with my next achievement."
"You know that Ara can always tag along with us. But why do you change your mind? I thought you want to stay a freelancer forever?"
"I can still accept speaking engagements. Only that I need to focus more on this company."
"Alright. Whatever you think is best, then I believe it is. Congratulations!"
"Thank you, dear! But I want a reward tonight." I could see Zed's wicked face in my mind, and I couldn't help but smirk.
"Sure. Come home as soon as possible."
"I'll be there before midnight," he said, then chuckled afterward.
Imagining Zed in bed with me brought a sense of exhaustion to my mind. But as a wife, it was still my duty to fulfill his needs. To prepare me mentally, I changed into a pair of black and lacy lingerie. I have a fair complexion, so the lacy cloth would enhance the color of my skin.
Aside from that sexy outfit, I overlaid them with a see-through nightie. Any normal man would indeed get aroused just by looking at my attire.

Instead of waiting for him to clean me up, I went to the bathroom and took a cold shower. But even after that, I still felt uncomfortable. Perhaps, it was my pregnancy hormones. But may it be hormonal or not, or whatever it was, I still couldn't help myself from craving badly for fulfillment.
Zed was already snoring when I went out and I could understand. His job was indeed exhausting. Yet, as I looked at how he slept soundly while I was fuming in silent frustration, I despised him for the first time.
I changed into a cotton dress, topped it with a black jacket, then went down to the garden. My plan was to get some fresh air in the park to calm myself down, but I changed my mind. I went back inside the house and took my keys. I decided to go directly to the office. There, my memories with Kim were vivid. "Let me accompany you to the office, ma'am," the guard offered, his expression showing glints of worry.
"Yes, please. Thank you."
The guard was indeed right to accompany me. The floor that housed my office was indeed dark and eerie. Yet, no matter how scary it looked, I still insisted on going there.
I stood before the floor-to-ceiling window, watching the silent world outside. Lights flickered everywhere, although darkness settled wherever I laid my eyes on. I thought about my frustration on Zed and I also imagined my escapades with Kim.
I didn't know how long I stood over there, but eventually, I got sleepy. I set up my sofa bed, and just as I drifted off to dreamland, the door opened. My heart immediately jumped off my chest that I bolted out of the bed.
"Why are you here?" a male voice said, and I heaved out a sigh when I realized it was Kim.
"And why are you here also?"
"The guard told me that someone is breaking into the office," he replied seriously and I laughed hard. I appreciated the guard who did his duty.
"Don't worry, nothing is lost." I shrugged and lay down on the bed again. "Please lock the door when you leave."
I turned to my side and closed my eyes, pretending to sleep. But I knew he wouldn't leave while I was there. Thinking about what would happen since only the two of us on the entire floor were there, my cravings surged again. And I wasn't surprised when his hand started to caress my arm.
I then felt the tip of his tongue on my nape and down to my shoulders. And since my dress had no zipper at the back, his tongue moved to my left foot.
