Yan Liqiang slowly walked to that fallen Shatu and studied that person.
This Shatu man was in his forties. His eye sockets were sunken and he kept a brownish-grey beard. His face looked ferocious but his mouth was spitting mouthfuls of blood. Seeing Yan Liqiang walk over, the Shatu glared at Yan Liqiang while his body spasmed. He tried to get up but he couldn’t.
That Shatu person didn’t die immediately but all his bones and organs had pretty much been shattered by Yan Liqiang. The man could only breathe his final breath.
Yan Liqiang said nothing but went up to that Shatu person and squatted down. He stared into that person’s eyes, “I know you can understand me. Who sent you here, and what is your purpose in Pingxi City?”
Blood bubbles rolled in that Shatu person’s throat and seeped out from his mouth. He said nothing but just glared hatefully at Yan Liqiang. Half a minute later, he opened his eyes wide and stopped breathing but Yan Liqiang got the answer he wanted.
The Shatu also carried a small arrow sack. Yan Liqiang opened it and there were still two black metal arrows inside.
This wasn’t an ordinary arrow. The strange runes on the arrow told Yan Liqiang that such an arrow was the work of a talisman master.
This talisman arrow was interesting. Ye Mo scanned the runes with the eyes of a professional. This was the second time he’d seen a talisman from the Shatu. The tail of the arrow was special. What powered the talisman wasn’t an entire beast core, but beast core powder. The person who created this arrow was more precisely an apprentice. He just fused the powder into the tail of the arrow.

“Prefectural Governor…” Yan Liqiang went to Wang Jianbei and took out a black arrow before passing it to Wang Jianbei. “I finished that person off, but the thing he left behind is quite interesting!”
