“One private room on the second floor for two patrons…!” The waiter announced loudly as though he was singing. Another waiter immediately came out to lead both men into a private room by the window on the second floor.
Since it was slightly past lunch hour, there weren’t many other patrons in the restaurant. Only two tables on the spacious second floor were occupied and they were about done with their meals.
“What would you like to order? The Ten-Fresh-Ingredients Roasted Lamb and Saucy Beef Feast are our signatures. We serve fine wine here too, like a decade old wine aged by the Shi Clan of Pingxi Prefecture. It’s pure, without even a drop of water mixed in. Regular patrons will be able to tell with just a taste!”
“Just serve us whatever you have. A restaurant in a small place like this can barely fill a tummy. There’s nothing to expect other than hygienic food.
