CHAPTER 77
I LOVE MIRABEL.
Mirabel noticed divine mood when they got home but she decided not to provoke her since she know Charles had told her everything, she went inside her room silently without making a sound.
"Divine was determine to deal with Mirabel, she will make sure nobody get Charles ". She will do everything possible to achieve it. She called one of her friends from her former school and told her about her plan, Clara also support her decision to break the relationship apart.
"The following day in school, Clara sit down beside Charles before the twins even arrive". Charles had never seen her before. Are you a new student? Yes I am, she said showing her white beautiful set of teeth.
"The twins enter later, Mirabel sit beside her friend instead since her seat had already been occupied by someone else". The face look familiar to her but she can't place it.
Divine was cheerful again, her friends keep asking what her plan is but she decided to keep it to herself. Charles could not talk much with the new girl again, he want his girlfriend to be beside him. He was scared his friends will approach her, Clara saw how he keep looking at where mirabel was sitting.
She could not believe this, many guy's want to be her friend. "But here is Charles not paying attention to her, he is not even half as handsome as her boyfriend ". She is just doing this for her best friend, what an insult.
She followed Johnson immediately they close, Johnson could not tell her to excuse them. He did not want to sound rude but he did not appreciate how she keep following him around as if they know each other before.
"Have we met before? No, this my first time seeing you". I was wondering if you have something to tell me because I have to rush home right now, I can follow you. He almost chock on his saliva, why will you follow me? Because I want us to be friends.
"What your name again? Levin Clara". Clara please I want us to be friends only in school, there is no need for you to follow me to my place. "Don't you want me to meet your parent's? What are you saying? ".
"Why do you want to see my parent? It not like you are my girlfriend or something ". A tears roll down her eyes and she walked away, Charles wonder what he had done to make her cry. Hope it not what he is thinking, he is sure she just had a crush on him just like most of the girls.
He will introduce his girlfriend to her before she get her hopes up, he call Mirabel immediately he got home and narrated everything that happened to her. She also told him she had seen her face before but she can't place it, they decided to talk better when they get to school the following day.
Divine was happen about how Clara dress to kill to their class, but she became sad immediately Clara narrated everything that happened to her. Keep on trying, I know he will fall for you sooner or later.
Clara was a very beautiful girl but she is always sad whenever she gets home, her father is always traveling. He never stays at home, it only her and her mother at home most of the time.
Her father pay no attention to her, he only provide everything they need. He is busy with his cookies business, she wonder if they are not important to him at all.
She missed her father so much, despite the resemblance. Her father still did not care much about her, she remembered when her father dropped her at her school the last time he came home. Her father is so charming, she love to stay close to her father.
Her father had promise to take her along with him next time he comes home, and that is three month ago. She can not wait to work alongside with her father.
Sometimes she pity her mother, it was more like her existence is by mistake. her father and mother share different room, she wonder why.
Levin was doing perfectly well in his business, he know he had not been a good husband neither had he been a good father but he did not love Felicia as much as he love mara then.
Their love making was by mistake, but she end up getting pregnant with his precious daughter . He feel like a bad father whenever he sees his daughter, she needs him but he did not want to stay around her mother.
He decided to surprise her, mara as also ask him to come home. He can't wait to see everybody including Johnson too, his brother will also join him.
They can't wait to see mara with her kids, he really missed her alot. He called his wife and inform him he will be back in a month time. Felicia was happy he called her to inform her he will be back soon, she told her daughter about it and she was so excited about it.
The following day, Clara could not go to her school again because of the plan she was helping divine with. She dress elegantly and sit with Charles, Charles did not like the fact that Clara keep sitting with him.
Mirabel saw Clara smiling to Charles, she move to sit with her friend. The teacher had left the class when Clara suddenly kiss Charles, he was shocked beyond words, he saw Mirabel walking angrily outside when he forcefully push her away. He run after Mirabel, he pull her before she takes any further step.
Am sorry Mirabel,She kissed me. I did not kiss her Mirabel, please believe me. I do believe you Charles, he hugged her while she suck in tears.
They settled and went back inside their class, Clara turn to talk to him again when he suddenly yell at her. Stop flirting with me, I love Mirabel. He shouted for the whole class to hear, stop trying to ruin my relationship. He walked out of the class.
