Pei Yansi laughed angrily, repeating the question, "What did you say? You hope we can get engaged as planned, and you’re so eager for me to have relations with another woman?"

Shen Heyu said, lowering her head, in a faint voice. Pei Yansi still couldn’t believe what he had heard; he tugged at the corners of his mouth, his laugh growing colder.
After laughing absent-mindedly several times, Pei Yansi realized he couldn’t muster a single smile anymore. He took a quick stride right up to Shen Heyu and grabbed her shoulders with his hands.
"Shen Heyu, tell me you were just joking with me, right? This isn’t what you really think. Just yesterday when we survived a near-death experience and came back together, I heard you constantly calling my name."
"I might have been unconscious then, but I could still hear your voice. You even cried for me. I don’t believe that was fake. I still matter to you, I still have weight in your heart."
Pei Yansi’s voice even trembled; he repeatedly asked Shen Heyu to confirm this, the sound of her crying for him in his half-asleep, half-awake state yesterday wasn’t a dream.

"Alright, this matter is settled now; let’s leave."
"Did Chen Wenzhou guess that we were going to tell Pei Yansi about this, so he threatened you using Yuexue?"
"Yes. He probably had someone monitoring us all this time. As soon as you entered the hospital, I received Chen Wenzhou’s photo and his call."
