Shen Heyu lowered her head, not saying another word, and Lu Yi knew she was tacitly approving his actions as he slowly stood up.

Chen Lingmeng triumphantly told Pei Yansi, as Chen Wenzhou had just called her to inform that Shen Heyu had cut off all ties, and there was no chance of them reconciling.
Thus, Chen Lingmeng had carefully dressed up to visit Pei Yansi, thinking this was the time when he was heartbroken, and if she could comfort him, she could successfully win over his heart.
But when she bad-mouthed Shen Heyu in front of Pei Yansi, he finally looked up at her with eyes sharp as swords materialized.
