Seeing how seriously Lu Yi admitted his mistakes, Shen Heyu took a deep breath slowly.
"You drank so much this time, which is understandable, so I’ll forgive you this time. However, I hope that from now on, you can keep your promises. If you agree to something, don’t go back on your word."
Because of the image Lu Yi had in Shen Heyu’s mind, it was hard for her to accept what had happened, as he clearly hadn’t kept his promises.
"Heyu, I swear to you, this will never happen again. This time I was genuinely heartbroken, I couldn’t control myself, that’s why I drank so much. This is the last time."
When Lu Yi heard Shen Heyu forgiving him, he happily raised his hand as if swearing an oath, but Shen Heyu slowly pushed his hand down.
"Alright, let’s put this behind us and not bring it up again. You’ve drunk too much, go take a shower and get some sleep early."

"Rest assured, he didn’t hurt me. Compared to him, I’m more worried about you—drinking all night yesterday, and so much again today."
Seeing the bottles on the balcony, Shen Heyu couldn’t help but sigh. She had definitely not expected to come home to this scene when she opened the door.
Lu Yi, feeling ashamed, looked down, about to say something when the doorbell rang. He pointed towards the door as if he had seen a savior.
"It must be the cleaning service or room service. I’ll go open the door."
Watching Lu Yi change the subject and flee, Shen Heyu shook her head involuntarily.
When Lu Yi opened the door, it was the cleaning service; they removed the bottles from the balcony. Shen Heyu sat on the couch while Lu Yi walked towards her, step by step.
"How was your night at his place? Did you eat well? Did you sleep well?"
Lu Yi’s conversation revolved around Shen Heyu, showing how much he cared about her, which Shen Heyu knew in her heart.
Shen Heyu looked up at Lu Yi. In less than a day, he had become significantly more haggard.
"Don’t worry, he didn’t give me a hard time last night. I’m more worried about you right now. After you drink the hangover soup, you should go and get a good night’s sleep."
Lu Yi glanced at the time, realizing it was getting late.
He smiled and shook his head, "It’s okay, I’m not sleepy. Besides, it’s already three or four in the afternoon. After I drink the hangover soup, I’ll rest a bit and then go grocery shopping. I’ll cook dinner for you tonight, okay? What do you want to eat?"
Shen Heyu didn’t answer his question; she was even more concerned about Lu Yi’s health.
"Let’s order takeout tonight. You drank so much last night, and I guess you didn’t sleep at all, didn’t get enough rest. Now I’m making you run around cooking, I really can’t bear it."
"It’s really fine, I know my body the best. I’m not tired at all. Seeing you energizes me. I’ve told you, my mission is to take good care of you, to protect you." Lu Yi looked at Shen Heyu with sincere eyes.
Though what he did this time disappointed Shen Heyu, overall, he still made her feel very secure.
"Are you really okay? If you exhaust yourself, don’t blame me for not reminding you," Shen Heyu repeatedly confirmed with him.
But Lu Yi was adamant, "I’m really fine."
After the cleaning lady had finished cleaning the presidential suite, the doorbell rang again. When the cleaning lady went to answer it, room service had just brought hangover soup.
Lu Yi drank the hangover soup, his eyes bright, wanting Shen Heyu to see that his spirit was indeed very good.
"My best way to rest is to take good care of you. If you don’t tell me what you want to eat tonight, then I’ll decide the menu myself."

"Did you drive her away?"
