He spoke and left without looking back. This time, no matter how much the people behind him shouted or what they said, he didn’t turn around once.
Until he heard Chen Lingmeng’s voice behind him.
She cried out, "Brother Yan Si, wait for me, I have something to say..."
Chen Lingmeng’s voice was frantic, the crying tone and choking were hard to miss.

He now understood that no matter what he said, a person like Chen Lingmeng wouldn’t listen.

Seeing Pei Yansi about to leave, Chen Lingmeng grew more agitated; she started to cry again, shouting at his retreating figure, "Don’t leave me, please give me a chance..."
