Chen Lingmeng was beside herself with excitement. As she spoke, tears fell, trembling as she embraced Pei Yansi.
Pei Yansi only felt disgust and irritation.
He pushed her hands away from himself, stepping back to distance himself from her before finally saying, "I only came because Aunt Chen told me you tried to kill yourself and wanted to see you one more time. However, what I want to say is, if you don’t even love yourself, don’t expect others to love you."
His tone and expression were just too cold.
Chen Lingmeng felt the pain deeply, inside and out.

She cried, tears rolling down in large drops. She reached out to pull on Pei Yansi again, but he stepped back, widening the distance between them.
