Rose opened her eyes and realized that it was already 10:00am. She immediately got up from the bed and went into the bathroom to take her shower before going downstairs. She could last remember that she was sitted on that seat while waiting for her boss and it looked as if she was now suffering from a body pain because of she had slept on that chair, resting her head on the table the whole of the night until this morning. She kept stretching her body as she walked downstairs and was nervous that her boss was still angry at her.
She came across one of the maid and so she decided to ask after her boss.
"Good morning, please Where is Mr. Evidence?" She asked, looking curious.
"We haven't seen him the whole of today ma'am."
Hearing that reply, she then concluded that he must still be sleeping in his room as she asked for the direction of Mr. Evidence's room.
She walked towards the road leading to his room and when she got there, she became confused on what to do. She could remember that Mr. Evidence was so angry at her last night. She was so damn confused and contemplated if she should knock or just walk back to her room. Few seconds later, she decided to knock and as she raised her hand to leave a knock on the door, she felt something tinkle her from the behind as she looked shocked because she wasn't expecting it. With that sudden shock, she forcefully turned to see who it was and when she did, she wasn't surprised because it was Mr. Evidence.
"Good morning Mr Evidence," she greeted, flashing him a charming smile.
"How was your night?" He asked and returned a wonderful smile to her as well. This time, she was very convinced that he was wearing a smile on his face and it appeared that his anger was gone.
"Have you taken your bath?" He curiously asked and she nodded.
"Good. It's time for breakfast then."
They both walked towards the staircase where he held her hands and guided her to the dining room. They got there and ate to their satisfaction.
After some minutes, they rested from the meal as the food already took its rightful position in their stomach when he decided to break the silence that lasted all through while they were eating.
"Tomorrow is friday, you know?" He asked, giving her a naughty smirk. "Well, sorry for yesterday. It's…"
He couldn't finish his statements when Rose interrupted.
"Don't say sorry Sir, it's passed now… I mean let us just forget about it." She smiled at him, causing Mr. Evidence to pitch the skin in between his brows as he spoke.
"I will be taking you to somewhere special tomorrow, okay?"
"..." she nodded but couldn't say a word.
"But before that, I made sure I made you eat enough food today so that you don't tell me you are hungry when…." He smiled and gave a naughty look.
"Let us go to your room. We will be playing a game. A dancing competition."
Rose widened her eyes in awe.
"A Dancing competition?"
"Yes, And whoever loses will have to grant the winner a wish."
"What kind of wish?"
"Any wish of the winner's choice."
Rose wasn't liking his idea at all. She could remember that she had told him earlier that she doesn't know how to dance so why was he coming up with this?
"Now, let us go." He ordered.
He stood from his seat when he suddenly held his head for some seconds and stood erect as he pretended as if he was okay. Rose wasn't quick to notice it.
She stood from her seat as she tried walking towards the staircase when she felt something lift her up. She realized that her legs weren't touching the floor and then she decided to see what it was. She looked and saw Mr. Evidence. She noticed he had carried her up, he carried her like a bride and was now climbing the staircase. Rose noticed that she was almost falling from his hands when she called out his name.
"Mr Evidence!"
"..." he didn't respond.
"Are you okay?"
"Shhhhhhh, yes. I am. I know you are already scared that I'm going to win the dance. Hehehe." He replied, trying to act as if all was well when everything wasn't well at all!
Rose didn't notice that as she replied to him.
"Not fair, you know I don't know how to dance… not fair!" She said,
He was still carrying her as he instructed. "Open the door.".
Those statements made Rose realize that they were already standing in front of her room door. She wondered how possible and how soon. She looked at the stairs and she definitely knew that climbing the stairs could take 2 minutes but why did they get there suddenly.
'Maybe because I was lost in thought and was afraid that I would fall.' She said to herself inwardly.
"What are you thinking? I said, ``Open the door."
She snapped out of her dazed state as she pushed the beautiful and gigantic door open.
They walked into the room as he dropped her down and closed the door.
"It's game time…" he celebrated.
He walked towards the big and fancy television placed by the side of the room and turned it on, including the cable as well. He moved to a channel where he thought good music would be displayed there as he pressed the channel number. She was right because it happened that the music that welcomed him at that moment was one of his favorites and it was danceable.
"It's time." He said as he started dancing, each move he made was perfectly nice! It was as if he had already rehearsed the dancing steps but it appeared that he didn't.
The music played for two minutes when he noticed that Rose wasn't dancing at all. It was so obvious that she was so shy.
"I won." He happily said.
Rose didn't argue because she knew that he had really won.
"What is your wish?" She asked and turned her face towards another direction as she made a funny face, hoping not to hear a funny request from him.
"I need a massage."
