Chapter 39 ~ Title: Go Hard

[Iris’s POV]
I blinked up at him in surprise. Did the president of USK State just offer to give me a massage? My head throbbed in pain. I reached up and pressed my fingers against my temples. Unable to think any further, I let out a ragged breath and nodded my head. Butterflies erupted in my stomach as I saw the corner of his mouth tip up slightly. I cleared my throat and raised my eyes to his. The anxious look that was there just moments ago turned into pure understanding. He knew what it meant to be so exhausted that you just wanted to sink into oblivion. Sitting gently down beside me on the bed, he removed his watch and placed it on the nightstand.
“If I’m too rough, just let me know.” His deep voice washed over me and I shivered while at the same time feeling indescribably hot.
Swallowing hard, I replied shakily, “A-alright.”
Turning me so I could lay on my back, he lifted up my shirt just enough to expose my stomach and put his hand just beneath my navel. My heart flipped and I felt my breathing speed up. I inwardly cursed and avoided looking at him. With my eyes fixed on the ceiling, I felt his thumb moved gently across my abdomen.
“Here?” he asked, trying to locate the source of my pain.
My skin tingled under his touch and I had to work hard to not let out a moan of pleasure. But, damn. It felt so good! I nodded my head in response. He began rubbing his hand in a circular motion while pressing down lightly. I clutched the sheets. He was being so careful and gentle. Warmth began pooling between my legs. This was ridiculous. I was getting so worked up by his mere touch. Shifting slightly, I let out a sigh.
“Um—” I said in almost a whisper. He stopped and looked at me expectantly. “C-could you do it a little harder?”
Something flashed in his eyes and he instantly complied. Applying a little more pressure, his fingertips pressed into my stomach while maintaining the circular motion. I let out a moan. I couldn’t help it!
“Does that feel good?” he asked in a husky voice.
I nodded and then I looked over at him. Big mistake. He was staring down at me with such intensity that my mind went completely blank for a moment. Was that desire in his eyes? I mentally gave myself a hard shake. Impossible. No one of his social standing would ever want me in that way. I must have just imagined it.
Coming back to my senses, I placed my hand on his. He froze.
“I’m feeling much better now, sir. Thank you for your help.”
He stared at me for a moment and then asked, “You want to me to stop?”
Fuck no! My mind screamed as I stared down at his hand. His warm touch was so soothing and erotic. But, I was his secretary and I had to put a stop to this before it ruined everything. If we continued like this, someone would find out about it and then my face would be plastered all over the news. That definitely couldn’t happen. I looked back down at my stomach. He still hadn’t removed his hand.
“Y-yes, sir,” I said while moving his hand aside.
He nodded and looked a little disappointed. Disappointed?
Standing up, he said, “You should be more careful when you are traveling, Miss Young. I still have some work to do. You should try and take a nap if you can.”
I watched as he walked out the door and then I slumped back down onto the bed. Curling onto my side, I reflected on what just happened. It had felt so nice to be taken care of for once. No one, not even the man I had fallen in love with, had ever shown me concern and tenderness. Taking a deep breath, I snuggled under the blankets and closed my eyes.
[Xavier’s POV]
“This is fucking ridiculous,” I mumbled to myself as I stomped towards the men’s bathroom.
Thankfully, the public restrooms were equipped with showers. If they hadn’t, I would have been in trouble. The evidence of the desire I had felt while giving Iris a massage wasn’t going anywhere and I couldn’t go into my meeting with a huge bulge in my pants. A shower. I needed to shower. Entering the bathroom, I looked down.
“A fucking cold shower,” I grumbled while releasing an irritated breath.
Stripping off my clothes, I stepped under the freezing water. Bracing myself with my hands against the wall, I groaned in frustration. I had never lost control like that.
“So much for being asexual,” I said in a deadpanned tone.
I rolled my eyes as I thought of how my therapist had even proclaimed me as asexual. But apparently with Iris, that wasn’t the case. I had gotten so hard that it had started to hurt. I wanted her. If she hadn’t said anything, I probably wouldn’t have been able to stop. The realization shook me to my core.
My mind drifted back to her soft skin and to the way she had reacted to my touch. Her breathing had quickened and, when she had sighed with pleasure, I felt my control slipping away. Groaning again, I let the cold water flow over me and tried to think of something else. Besides, it’s not like I could just go up to Iris and tell her that I needed her. She was my secretary for Christ’s sake.
An hour later, I came out of the shower and felt human again. I went back to my room and found that Iris had fallen asleep. Her pink lips were slightly parted and she was snoring lightly. Seeing that her blanket had slipped down, I walked over and adjusted it. She snuggled down deeper into the mattress and the action was so adorable that I felt my lips curve into a grin.
My phone vibrated in my pocket and I quickly walked over to the door and left the room so I wouldn’t wake her. Stepping into the hallway, I accepted the call.
“They are here, Xavier,” Daniel said crisply.
“Give me ten minutes,” I responded.
Disconnecting the call, I stepped quietly back into the room and changed my clothes. After making sure the room was secure, I went back to the door and looked over at Iris one more time before closing it silently behind me.
[Iris’s POV]
My phone was ringing loudly and I felt sluggish as I sat up in bed. How long had I been asleep? Stretching out my arm, I grabbed and answered the phone.
Without a moment’s hesitation, a voice roared into my ear.
“Iris Michael! What the hell are you doing? Did you forget your orders for tonight?!”
