"Ohh! You are so confident"
Rosetta heard familiar voice and quickly turned around.
"Are you here to make fun of me again?"
She asked.
The Masked man chuckled.
"No, I have never done that... It's you who thinks that I make fun of you... I am just giving you reality check... People often became blinded by love..."
"I don't want to hear anything... Leave me alone..."
She sighed leaning against the railing.
"Are you losing hope?... You think Skyler won't come?... I think your grandfathers are right... You should listen to them..."
He suggested crossing his hands over his chest.
"You should listen to all of us... Everyone is telling you that he not the one still you are not ready to listen..."
Rosetta looked at him and nodded defeated.
"I think you are right"
She said and he raised his eyebrows.
"I thought Skyler will come for me... He should have been here by now but he is not..."
She looked into his eyes and started walking towards him.
"May be grandpa is right, he doesn't care about me. His business is his first priority..."
That man stood there as she reached him. His heart started racing erotically as she stood in his personal space.
"Why are you always with me when I need someone?... Why I feel that you are the only one who cares about me?"
She whispered in daze.
"Don't stop"
He whispered.
"I want to hear more."
"No matter how much I try to avoid you, there is something which is attracting me towards you..."
She confessed and he smiled under his mask.
Rosetta raised her hand to touch his face but he quickly grabbed her wrist.
"Oh No! sweetheart... Nice try but I won't fall for your trap...."
He chuckled and she cursed closing her eyes.
She was so close to unveil his face but he caught her.
"I thought you are Tigress but you are fox... And here I was thinking that you are saying everything with your heart... You broke my heart..."
He said.
Rosetta snatched her hand from his hold and maintained decent distance.
"Don't you dare touch me"
She warned.
"How did you get in?..."
She frowned, it was impossible for a normal human to breach the security.
"This"
He pointed his fingers at the security.
"Is child play for me... Your grandfather needs to work hard on security..."
He mocked and she rolled her eyes.
"Overconfident much?!"
She scoffed taking her previous place at the railing.
"I believe in myself"
He answered.
"How did you know about our conversation?... How do you know that we were talking about this at the dining hall?"
She frowned.
He Smirked.
"I told you sweetheart... I am always around you... Always!... It's just, you can't recognise me... May be i am your bodyguard, may be i am one of the servent, may be your cook, may be gardener, cleaner, driver etc etc... There are so many options... But the main thing is, I am always around you..."
"You are disgusting"
She spat.
"Not more than your husband"
He replied.
"Don't compare yourself with skyler... I don't care what you people are talking about him... I know he will come for me. I believe in him... You people can't manipulate me... Understand?"
She countered.
"Blind faith"
He chuckled.
"What do you think, why is he not here?"
He asked mockingly.
"Grandpa!... He is the only reason"
She said confidently.
"He must have done something to him... Must have created problems for him... I know Skyler, he will come... And I am ready to wait for him..."
"Your words irks me"
He said annoyingly.
"Then fuck off... No one invited you here..."
She replied.
"Why do you even bother?... I think I have made myself clear that I am not interested in you..."
"Did you complained about me to your husband?"
He asked.
"Why? Are you afraid that he will beat your ass?"
She mocked.
He laughed.
"You know who can beat who's ass... I like your overconfidence... I am just curious about his next move... What he can do to save his beautiful wife... Or may be he will simply handover you to your family, may be he doesn't want to deal with your shit..."
"Get lost"
She gritted.
"And don't come in front of me again..."
"Truth is bitter sweetheart... I don't know how much time it will take for you to understand that I am perfect for you."
He sighed.
"Well I can wait... And then may be i should ask you from your grandpa. Afterall I am strong and handsome young man..."
He chuckled.
Rosetta angrily grabbed the plant pot which was near her and threw at him. He quickly Dodged it.
"Are you insane?..."
He said in disbelief. She almost got his head.
"Yes I am insane... Get lost from here, otherwise I'll kill you... Get out"
She growled.
"What's happening here?"
Their eyes snapped towards the Rose who was standing in front of them. She was passing by but then she Heard Rosetta's angry voice and decided to see her. She looked at broken pot and then towards the Masked man.
Rosetta gulped when she saw her mother and Masked man got alert too.
"Mom?"
Rosetta breathed out.
That man turned around to escape but Rose was quick to grab him. He turned around and pushed her back. He tried to jump down but Rose pulled him back with force. She punched him in ribs and kicked on his face.
Rosetta gasped when he collided with railing and Groaned in pain, her mother was beating his ass and she was quite enjoying it. But one thing she realised that her mother is still younger than her when it comes to energy. She is still on the top.
Rosetta has seen that man killing people smoothly, he is spectacular but still he is at feet of her mother.
He struggled to stand but finally managed to stand on his legs. He tried to attack Rose but she kicked on his chest making him collide with the wall.
"Mom... Remove his mask... We should see his face"
Rosetta yelled.
Rose and that man both looked at Rosetta. Rose looked at him with frown.
"What the hell are you doing with my Daughter?"
She growled grabbing him by throat.
He Groaned trying to free himself. He took out smoke bomb and threw it on the floor.
Taking the advantage of smoke he pushed Rose aside and managed to escape from her clutches.
"Mom are you okay?"
Rosetta rushed towards her when smoke disappeared after few minutes.
"Who is he?"
Rose raised her eyebrows.
"I don't know mom..."
Rosetta answered.
"Open your eyes and look around Rosetta..."
Rose Scolded making Rosetta frown. She couldn't understand the meaning behind her mother's words.
Rosetta was about to question her but Rose's phone suddenly rang. She took out her phone and saw caller ID.
Rosetta's eyes glowed when she saw skyler's name on the screen.
"Mom can I talk to him, please... Please let me talk to him..."
She requested and tried to take the phone but Rose snatched it back.
"Ask your grandfather, not me... You lied to me. Now don't expect any help from me..."
Rose said angrily.
Rose walked away from there leaving disappointed Rosetta behind.
Rosetta walked back towards her room defeated.
"I feel like teenage girl... What the hell is going on in my life... He is my husband for God sake.."
She cursed madly.
She laid on the bed sadly. She was missing Skyler and his warmth. She loves the way he irritates her. His touch, voice and eyes everything is printed on her mind.
After knowing that he was calling her Mother, Rosetta was confident that he will come for her. She was praying for him to come sooner.
She didn't realise when she fell asleep while thinking about him.
Rosetta woke up when maids knocked on the door of her room. Rosetta lazily opened the door and they entered with paper bags.
"Ma'am Mr. Knight has sent this dress and other things for you... If you need anything else then please call us..."
The maid said politely.
Rosetta took out the dress, it was long peach coloured gown. It has deep back and single straps. It was cute but she isn't fan of dresses. She never feel comfortable in it.
"Can you give me jeans and sweatshirt... I don't want to wear this..."
She asked in sleepy and irritated voice.
"I am sorry ma'am but he wants you to wear this... You know your grandfather Better than us."
The maid replied.
Rosetta rolled her eyes.
"Of course... So called girly things. Fine, you can leave."
She said and maids left her room.
Rosetta quickly showered and got ready. She hurriedly walked outside.
Her lips formed a beautiful smile and her heart started racing when she heard her favourite voice.
"Skyler!"
Her smile widened and she started running towards the direction.
She saw him standing in the leaving room while she was still upstairs on first floor.
She looked down at him and smiled.
