"Excuse me, what do you say?" Vala asked, not understanding what Ruthless was saying.
"You need to see yourself," Ruthless said to her smiling. You look so gorgeous mate." He added.
Not quite understanding what he meant, she stood up from the ground and hurried to her room and went to her mirror, ignoring Ruthless icy body behind her. She slowly lifted up her hands to touch her face, she was whole. Her eyes slowly went down to her body and she gasped out aloud when she couldn't find the cracks anymore, returning her gaze back to the mirror, she couldn't believe the face staring right back at her.
She moved back in shock and Ruthless arms encircled around her waist, kissing her neck and resting his head on her shoulder.
"Now you don't look like a beast anymore Vala, you are the most beautiful of them all and I am so proud and happy that you are my mate." Ruthless told her.
"Winter.....thank you." Vala said with tears streaming down her cheeks, "Thank you so much for this surprise, it means a lot to me. I didn't know...."
"Hush now my beautiful mate, I understand," Ruthless said as they stared at each other through the mirror.

"Same feelings too Vala."
"Can't you say the word Winter," Vala said, "It's very easy to say." She added turning around to face him.

"Alright, I trust you." She told him, putting her arms around his neck. "I want you to kiss me."
Without saying another word, Ruthless did as ordered.

Galore Kingdom; Palace
King Galore paced around his room, thinking he just had his dinner thirty minutes and had left his wife and son. At dinner, he sensed something was wrong with the way his wife and son were behaving but he didn't put that in his thought much because his thoughts were filled with the sudden disappearance of Haule's wife.
Where could she be?
He remembered those two guards he had ordered to take Queen Elfy to the dungeon, he hasn't seen them ever since that day.
In a sudden flash, he remembered he had placed a golden loop around the neck of Queen Elfy which would suppress her powers. He sat down on his bed and closed his eyes, joining his hands together. He concentrated on the loop. The loop he had placed on her would make him able to know her exact location.
Oddly, he couldn't find any connections with the loop.
Something is definitely wrong, except him, no one else can remove the loop round her neck.
Who could have done this? Even though he is suspecting his wife, his wife didn't have the power to remove the loop so who could?
And most importantly, where could Ruthless be? He hasn't seen him today and he didn't come for dinner.

Queen Lati drops her spoon and focuses on her son. Her husband had hurriedly ate his dinner and had left them alone.
"So what do you say to my proposal son? Changed your mind?"
"My answer still remains No," Blue responded.
"You are mad if you think you can match up to Ruthless in a fight. I want to help you, marrying the woman I choose for you will make you benefit a lot and besides you can still have Vala as your concubine once you have defeated Ruthless."
"My answer still remains the same mother, you won't force me to marry the person you suddenly choose, what happened to Vala? You were in support so what changes?"
"I was given a condition son, I just want you to be strong, I don't want your father to see you as a weakling that you are not, I want him to see you as a strong man, ascending the throne all powerful." Queen Lati told her son. "Don't you see I am helping you."
"If this is help, then I don't need your help anymore. If you can't help your own son in this, I doubt you can't help me again."
"Don't say that son, my hands are tied here."
"Tied? You are the daughter of the King of the Witches, I don't believe a daughter with a father like that would stoop so low just to follow someone else's command. Don't make me hate you mother, we are done with this conversation. I am not marrying anybody except Vala and you and that woman of your choice better get that in your skulls," he said and stood up from his seat, "Thank you for the food mother, I shall retire to my room now." He added and turned to leave.
"Stupid child, I am trying to help you so that we can get the spell to use on Ruthless. You are making this too hard for me, but you are right, I am the Witch King daughter, and everyone under my kingdom will obey me, not the other way round," she said stopping Blue right in his tracks.
"Then do what you must do mother, goodnight." He told her and left.

Vala's Apartment:
He kissed her like never before and since they both were supernatural, they could hold their breaths longer.
