I went limp. Completely.

I had my hat over my eyes while I was sitting down on the chair with my head resting on the wall.
My hands crossed over my stomach and my legs were stretched out. I couldn't sleep.
I couldn't just close my eyes and sleep.
I couldn't.
My mind couldn't stop being a fuckin dîck. It kept showing me what happened to her and hearing all her moans of pain and how badly her leg looked.
I was shaking my leg and clenching my jaw. I couldn't stand her being in pain. Was it my fault? Did I let this happen? If so, how? I want to know how my fûckin head caused this to happen.
I should've known he knew her. Why would he come up so fast to her and ask her to go to dinner. I know she's beautiful and all, but you wouldn't ask right away.
That's unless you're trying to fûck. And it didn't seem he was. I groaned and threw my hat on the chair beside me. I sat up and rubbed my face. My foot was tapping on the floor as my elbow rested on my thigh with my head sitting on my palm.
It's what? I don't know, maybe two in the morning and I haven't even left or had a little nap. Nothing. I stood up and started to pace.
How fuckin long do they have to take?!? Like, I get it. Her leg broke or knee cap whatever. But this long?!? I kicked at the wall because I was frustrated. I walked towards the chair and picked up my hat and placed it on and right when I did, the door open.
"Um, for the gi-"
"Her name is Mai. What about her." I said as I turned towards him.
He was taking off gloves and a light blue mask. "Well. It was thirteen hour surgery. Her knee cap broke in half. So we place plates and screws to somewhat put it back in place. It's going to be awhile for her to get use to the plate and her learning to walk right. So right now, she won't be able to leave. She'll have to take physical therapy. You can go see her, but she will still be asleep."
"I'll like to see her."
"Okay. Follow me." He turned around and lead me to the room she was at. He opened the door for me but didn't walk in. I nodded at him and I walked in. The door closed softly behind me and I walked further in.
Her face looked peaceful better than earlier. I took a seat next to her since the chair was right next to her. The beep of her heart on the heart monitor was steady and just the sound of it calmed my nerves down.
I slumped against the chair and spread my legs out in front of me while I took off my hat and placed it on my thigh. I stared at her and I all I wanted to was burn the fucker to the ground. Torture him painfully and slowly.
I started to close my eyes and have my mind blank.

"Vincenzo?" I slowly open my eyes and I see her looking at me. I gave her a soft smile, "hey Mai."
She smiled and looked around. "Why are we in here? All I remember was you coming down the stairs and then every thing else is blurry."
"Well. I got you, put you in the car and we drove here. I threaten doctors here to help you since we waited almost an hour and you kept moaning in pain. So, they did surgery and now you have a plate in your knee cap, screws and you have to do physical therapy." I said as I got up.
She looked back towards me and then looked towards her legs that were under the blanket. She lifted the blanket up and pushed it off. I didn't see her leg since when I brought her, so I was curious. I walked towards her and see continued to look at her leg.
Her leg was still kinda bluish but you can see her stitches and black marker lines. Her hand slowly went to it and slowly touched it but she pulled away with a slight kiss.
"You should rest. You and your body needs rest." I said as I pulled the covers over her again. I knew she was looking up at me but I didn't give her a glance.
"Di-" she got cut off but someone screaming from outside of the door. My eyebrows furrowed and both of us were both staring at the door.
"Code silver! This is not a dri-" someone said in the speakers but you heard a gun shot sound off. I clenched my jaw and grabbed my gun from my waist band.
I looked over to her, "you are to stay under the covers. Don't you dare peak. Stay hidden. I'll place some more blankets over you to hide your figure stay still and quiet." I said calm, trying not to get her even more scared. She nods quickly and throws it over herself. I look through the closet in here and found another set of blankets here. So I take it and quickly threw it over her.
"I'll be back Mai. Don't worry." I quickly run towards the door and open the door. Nurses and doctors were running by with patients. I walked the way they are running away from. I started to jog towards the place and when I was about to turn a corner but a bullet hit the wall right next to me.
I ducked down and turned around and shot. I didn't have to look because I heard him hit the ground. So I ran towards the same direction he came from. More men started to run in and I shot each and one of the them. When I rounded all the corners and didn't see anyone I started to run towards her.
I changed the clip two times already and this is was my last clip and I'm on one bullet. I sprinted towards her and when I saw her door slowly closed my heart dropped.
I sprinted faster and quickly opened the door while it slammed against the wall. I heard her cry and gasp but he was staring at me with a smirk with her neck in his hand. The gun was pointed at me and I clenched my jaw.
"I'm sick of your games. Fuckin give up already. I'm already on the top. You won't be able to take my spot."
"If I kill you, I will."
"Oh. That's a same because I know how to kill you. But not physically." He smirked and he placed the gun on the side of her head and and she cried.
I was going to shoot at him but I was pulled back and they pulled out the gun from my hand. I fought against them because it's two that were holding me. "Don't you fuckin hurt her!" I yelled.
"To late. I love to watch pain." And thats when bullet sounded off and she went limp against him.
I went limp.
I went completely limp.
