I was in the hospital for several reasons, for the first time my mind was not in working condition. I had no idea about what is happening with my life. It has suddenly turned upside down without moving an aisle to my heart.
I took a pledge months ago that I, Ashley Brooke, never going to fall for any billionaire or better to be called puppet, but here the destiny brought me, gave me nothing, no chance, only snatched away whatever I had.

Though, I am thankful for him that he paid for my mother's operation. When I reached the hospital for the first time after accepting him as my boyfriend or whatever, I came to know that the bill has been already paid and the doctors are doing their work. following the same procedure again and again I can say that I am here right now for the past three days looking like a hobo! Ignoring everything that's called social life because I cannot lose my mother in any condition!
Today is the day when she might be going to get discharged, so I will take care of her as she did to me when I was just a child.
Doctors announced, the operation was successful, and she is out of danger right now, only she needs someone to take care of her, who can look out for her, be with her in any situation because she is still weak, I can see in her pale eyes, in her dead skin that the energy from her body is missing, so I will do anything possible in my hands to make her feel a healthy person.
She got discharged soon, after that I booked a cab and went to the place which I call home, it was dark and empty giving all the old vibes, as no one was living there, as it's empty, as it has always been.
I decided to stay away from all the social media platforms as there were rumours all around about me. How a poor, nobody managed to lure a man who is Blake Jensen.
Everyone was saying, Blake Jensen is a saint, a true gentleman who doesn't care about anything except the power of love. And I wish I could tell them the reality. I finished working and cleaning the mess in our when my mother was peacefully sleeping on the beauty. A tinted smile was plastered on his face as she was finally in a calm situation.
And then my cell phone started blasting through high voices. It was almost killing me from inside or to our small house anyways as I was determined to not pick it up. It went on again and again, and the next moment I switched it off.
It was messing up with my mind badly, moreover, I have more important things to do, so I did what I thought would be quite an advent for me.
Later on, when she was sleeping, I was on the verge of sleeping too. I heard the doorbell. It was not quite working properly but I could feel something so strange inside my heart.
I went to open the door and found a man in black clothes, wearing matching shades as he was a robot, greeting with a huge box, and before I could ask him anything he excused himself and left.
I closed the door without making any noise; gently with my trembling fingers because I was a little afraid of all the outcomes.
And before I could make any move to look inside that huge box, a song started blasting from it, making me bleed through my ears.
A cell phone, a branded one was peeking at me from that huge box.
I picked up the call only to hear the silence from the other side. My breath was heavy as always due to the sudden adrenaline I was feeling.
"Hello?"
"Open the door damn it!" And then it ended.
What was that?
Who was calling me?
Is someone spying on me?
Dear God, I just want one thing in my life, but no! It had to be this way, now some random person is spying on me, maybe to kidnap or even worse kill me!
The doorbell rang, and I opened it in a rush without thinking for a second.
A butler was there in his apron holding a bouquet of roses and a larger box in the other hand.
"Who are you??? And why the hell are you here?"
I know it's not his fault to come and greet me with a kinky smile on his face, still, my blood got boiled to see the attentive presence of someone in my life.
"This is for you Ms Ashley Brooke,"
He handed me a bouquet, and then without asking for my consent he pushed that larger box on my other hand.
At that moment I might have fallen hard on the ground on my ass but somehow I managed to stand tall by giving him my doubt of repercussions.
When he was about to walk by leaving me all alone in the confusion, I shouted on top of my lungs to get at least an answer from him.
"Hey wait for a second!"
But his footsteps were in a rush and the next moment he was not anywhere to be found.
There was a small piece of paper in a bouquet which was hidden inside it, though somehow I managed to grab it to read it out aloud.

I opened that huge box and found an expensive dress that was dark green. It was a shoulderless, knee-length dress. what does he even want? Does he want me to be ready as a model me do a catwalk on the roads of New York City???
I have ignored him for the past three days if I ignored him right now, he will do something and I will be left with nothing.
So, I cleaned myself took a very quick shower and wore that dress. Of course, I had that small cubicle size mirror through which I neatly combed my hair, and applied some lipgloss.
But how am I going to leave my mother all alone???
The Doorbell rung again, only to find his aura around me
He was himself looking as he was a Greek God or a model who is going to steal all the girl's hearts, but the reality I know!

"I cannot go with you, I cannot leave my mother alone," these were my words to him when he was busy staring, at me or checking me out through his dark glasses.
He cleared his throat then for a moment a saw something strange in his behaviour and next, he started smiling.
"Jessica, come here,"
A nurse came holding a bag in her hand.
"She will take care of your mother,"
Without giving Me any time to think he grabbed my hand and intertwined his fingers with mine making me burn even more from inside.
