"You?" Jameson seemed unable to believe what was happening, his dizzy head and sore cheeks proved a new fact in his life. He, who is a businessman, has shares in one of the biggest fashion companies and a fortune of several billion Euros has been slapped by a student.
"How dare you," he said with wide eyes. "Do you know wh-?"
"Do you know who he is?" Before he could finish his words Amanda suddenly cut him off so he covered his mouth spontaneously.
A person is sometimes careful when he hears others say the words he often says.
Jameson was used to using his identity to brag, so when someone else did the same thing, his ears seemed to grow wider as his instincts wanted him to listen and confirm first.
"Who's he?" he asked.
"Hmph..." Amanda snorted with a cynical expression as if she was mocking him for looking so intimidated.
"Let's go" Arthur told her before she revealed his identity. He wasn't used to that kind of action, using his family background to intimidate others. To him, it was something ludicrous.
At the same time, he wondered how much influence his aunt had among the congressmen. First, Amanda said that even her father had to be polite to her. And now she was trying to intimidate Jameson with his aunt's name which meant she was sure the guy would freak out.
His knowledge of his aunt could not be said to be scant, but perhaps lacking in depth. For example, what are the methods she uses to intimidate others.
"Amanda, can you tell me stuff about my aunt in Congress?" Arthur asked Amanda.
There was a reason why he never asked his aunt. Of course, before this he was still only a school student, so interest in it was quite lacking. And now he has an interest, but not having time to ask questions isn't the main problem. The problem is having a hard time asking the details of someone you respect in person. In this case, asking someone else is an easier solution.
"Hehehe..." Amanda laughed at his question. She replied, "a lot of factors, of course, but do you know what she's been fighting for all this time and maybe will succeed?"
"I know she supported the military recently, is that an example?"
"No, I mean a goal she wants to achieve."
Arthur was silent, looking at Amanda, waiting for her to continue.
"She always targets the ministerial position, chances are she will succeed in the next term. And maybe it can be faster if there is a cabinet reshuffle."
"Minister." Arthur slightly changed his expression because this was indeed something very big. A single minister in Europe controls more funds than the presidents of major powers, and of course, their power is not something that the rich can rival.
"Stunning, isn't it? Once she becomes a minister, you can travel around Europe, visiting businessmen who are not affiliated with those ancient families and they will definitely reward you with tempting gifts. Of course, your aunt might slap your face if you do that."
"Hmm..." Arthur smiled, no longer discussing it.
There is a building that is quite interesting. Not that it was unique, but it had a bigger door, something that was designed to be easy for people to enter since those who came to this village eventually entered the building.
From the outside, the inside of the building looked dark, it was difficult to see inside. What was quite obvious was that it must have a passage leading underground as there was no way it could accommodate so many people.
Arthur took a deep breath and closed his eyes for a moment.
"What do you feel? Do you feel blood?" Amanda asked.
"Yeah," Arthur replied. "And more than ten thousand poor souls."
Amanda's eyes shook when she heard the number Arthur spoke.
Crazy? Of course, that's crazy if we look at the point of view of modern humans.
"Have you ever been in?" asked Arthur.
"No, I never have." Amanda quickly shook her head and then took a step, towards the back of the village.
There was a bigger house, two floors, looked deserted but there were a few motorbikes in the yard. Lots of bird food thrown around so lots of birds landed there.
As Arthur and Amanda drew near, the birds flew up into the sky, producing quite a loud wind noise as their wings flapped.
"This is interesting." Arthur showed an interested expression as he looked through a window on the second floor.
The window curtain was slightly parted, invisible to others but still clear enough in his eyes. What interested him was the ability of the people in the house, the sound of the wind instantly woke them all up.
Perhaps seeing that it was a woman and a young man coming, the people inside relaxed a bit. The curtain finally opened, revealing a man in his early 40s behind it.
He has messy blonde hair which is dyed white in parts.
His eyes were dull yet sharp, easily giving off a cold impression.
He clearly recognized Amanda. After confirming it was her, he said "girl, what more could you want here. Don't you already have the captain's phone number, give him a call if you want to use our services. Of course, we won't guard things in peaceful places, we will only go to chaotic countries."
"Oh, this little girl again." Another man appears beside the man, he is wearing a hat even though in the house. What's unique is that he holds a sniper.
"Where's your captain?" Amanda answered with a question.
"What do you want?" The first man asked back.
"I brought someone who wants to be his boss, and was ready to beat him up if he refused," Amanda replied.
"What are you saying?" Another question came but it wasn't from the two men, it came from the other men in the house. It seemed they were dumbfounded by Amanda's words.
One by one, the windows on the second floor finally opened, revealing the people inside.
If you add them up, there are at least fifteen of them.
What was important was that they weren't ordinary people, but a group of highly skilled people. Arthur could feel that clearly.
Rock and his gang are just kids compared to them.
